      Basically, the only options are: surround yourself with people you *know* are calibrated similarly to you, or just always be nice.

    They all have a high pain tolerance. But some people think tolerating pain is the same as not feeling it. They feel it, and they deal with it. Thus a pain tolerance

      Exactly. People think because they have a high tolerance they just don’t feel the pain as badly as a normal person would, when in reality they feel the same pain they’ve just learned how to handle it

      Saruman said "you have no power here" when he was attempting to overthrow Rohan by poisoning the mind of King Theoden using Grima Wormtongue's penchant for ruinous speech. Gandalf arrived in the guise of the grey, in order to abolish evil and save the day. Saruman mistook his power and showed no apprehension bravely declaring, "you have no power here, gandalf the grey" before Gandalf ripped his cloak off and a stunning light filled the room. Revealing his transformation into Gandalf the White.

    I wasn’t entirely sure what why this was in my recommended but i’m glad I gave it a chance, the idea of the cheese slope with a stud connection seems like a pretty good concept that could be awfully helpful in specific situations. I quite like this build idea and the stuff you’re testing out physically and digitally, i would be far too worried about only having a physical version and it breaking cuz of my clumsy hands knocking it over so having a program to test out and work off of is pretty brilliant! I didn’t even know there were any other lego programs for this since the early 2000s/2010s official website version I played with as a kid, even if its not the intended purpose (but idk i only have seen this episode so far, so i haven’t a clue what program you’re using).

    • @Slim_T_ODB
      @Slim_T_ODB Рік тому +11

      @zackperron6090 it really is crazy how different it is depending on where it hits you. I got in a fight in a bar many years ago and got tazed by a cop and the cop put me in the back of his car and shut the door which messed with the wires and I was getting shocked every few seconds and I was going nuts trying to get the cops attention to tell him what was happening but they didn't give a shit.

    • @Slim_T_ODB
      @Slim_T_ODB Рік тому

      @tp1382 LMFAO although I'm not a redneck, and it was actually me and mostly a bunch of fkin inner city criminals that participated in that shit, it definitely has a very redneck ring to it 😂 but picture instead of rednecks, a bunch of convicts with gang face tattoos running around like fuckin children and screaming like girls when they got tagged with the tazer.
      My house was always the house where we got together and did wild shit and got to act like kids and drop the whole "don't fuck with me" attitude and just had fun.
      We would spend stupid amounts of money on shit like airsoft rifles and have wars inside...
      Bottle rocket wars. Almost burned my house down during one of those so we didn't do that anymore.
      I think the worst/most dangerous one we did was a paintball gun war but instead of paint balls, we bought like 10 pounds of jolly ranchers and would drop them down the barrel. It worked entirely too well and man I still don't know how no one ended up in the hospital. Those jolly ranchers flew damn near as fast as a paintball. They would go right through sheetrock even at long distance with extremely good accuracy. You could hear them fly by your head.
      No, it wasn't smart. Yes it was very dangerous. We were too young and stupid to care. But some of the most fun I've ever had on nights like that.

    I know there are quite a few people out there that seek attention and would tolerate insane amounts of pain to get it. It’s not that you don’t feel it. It’s that pain is temporary and if you really really want attention, you’ll do whatever it takes to get it.
