  • Sasquatch has many mysterious traits and some are more explainable than others. Is there any way to reconcile so many witness reports into one potential identity for the Sasquatch? Members of the Olympic Project attempt this very action in this episode of Road to Discovery.

I felt bad for Dr. Krantz. He was so ridiculed by his peers in his field. For taking this subject matter seriously in a "scientific way". Yet that didn't deter him one bit. He was and is so instrumental in proving the existence of these creatures through there tracks. And i applaud all of his efforts and the continued efforts of people very similar to him like Dr. Meldrum. It's high time we look at this phenomena more scientifically. I hope your resting peacefully now Grover looking down and smiling at the continued research of this enigma.

Integrity such as exhibited by Dr Krantz is rare in society now. The willingness to investigate questions in a credible way even when the mob doesn't want you to. But we see that lack of Integrity all over American society where they just preferred to embrace Dogma without basis without ever taking an honest look at evidence and the facts. It's everywhere now these days not just the scientific Community which is always been sort of like that

The late Dr. John Bindernagel's findings and conclusions were simply ignored by his colleagues. It's as if the topic of Sasquatch is truly taboo in the world of science, to be avoided at all costs. Of course, ignoring evidence doesn't make it go away.

But cavemen and Egyptians and so on have in their art things that most don't believe ever existed like drangons, unicorns, griffen etc. Mermaids were recorded by sailors just because we didn't see it doesn't mean they don't or never existed! Now if the government says they are real then I probably would be hesitant of believing it 😊

Government's all around the world know of their existence. They have kept it a secret all this time. You have ask why. If this was an ape there would be no reason to hide it's existence. That's all the evidence you need to know that these being's have hyper abilities beyond our capabilities.
If you dig hard enough they have already told us they are not the nefillem, they are more related to us than any other species.

      @@Bryan-jd7os
I think the reluctance by some researchers to recognize the human qualities of Sasquatch have more to do with the biases of western culture than scientific evidence (biologically, humans are apes, too). I believe it's a western cultural bias against the idea that we aren't special and unique among living things, as well as a bias against the notion that we may not be the only human species on the planet (which would challenge our position as something special and unique). More and more discoveries in paleoanthropology are destroying the notion that only one human species inhabited the planet at any given time. What we now know of the human family bush makes it clear that having only one human species roaming the planet is the exception rather than the rule. The fossil record suggests there SHOULD be other human species out there and there WERE other human species out there not that far back in prehistory. After all, what made us successful may also have made them successful, in their own way.
There's also the tendency in current scientific thought to humanize our ancestors, even ones with brains little bigger than the brains of chimps. Would australopithecines look and act human, or would they look and act more like their ape cousins? With brain sizes comparable to those of chimps, I suspect they acted more like chimps than like modern humans. Even many of our more recent larger brained ancestors may have retained some ape-like traits. Sasquatch fits into that hypothesis nicely - a type of human (or human relative) that retains a number of ape-like traits.
On the flip-side, perhaps some of the human-like qualities of Sasquatch are due to parallel evolution, if they happen to be another ape that evolved to walk bipedally. Even so, stressing their ape-like nature while ignoring their human-like nature is a biased approach to the subject. They truly exhibit traits of BOTH humans AND non-human primates.

I suspect Sasquatch are closer to humans than to the other great apes, but one must also understand that humans are biologically great apes themselves. Humans are more similar at the genomic level to chimpanzees and bonobos than these two species are to gorillas. In some ways, the debate regarding whether or not Sasquatch are apes or humans is a biological absurdity. The separation is artificial, a human construct based on human arrogance.

I suspect when I heard long howls just a tenth of a mile from my house it was a male (possibly an adolescent) announcing his presence. I was outside in my back yard with my daughter and heard the howls getting closer, and closer, and closer. A few days prior, my wife heard at least two individuals howling to our north (possibly the father driving the adolescent male from his territory). The individual who howled in the woods right behind a small factory right behind out house stuck around for a few years raiding garbage bins every week.
Each individual vocalization was of great duration (several seconds) and volume, and rolled into a very low frequency. The volume was so great that we could hear the howls over our TV while sitting in our living room at the front of the house, and our windows were firmly shut (it was winter). When I went out on my back porch to listen more closely, I swear I could almost feel the howls reverberating in my body (infrasound?). No upstate NY animal known and recognized by science makes sounds like those I heard. I later listened to wolf howls online for comparison, but none matched the duration or the lows of the howls I heard outside that night. Closest sound would be the so-called "Ohio Howls".

That was definitely an Eastern Bigfoot. Plus, my wife would hear what she described as "parrots", and we both heard wood knocking. Plus, the location we lived t the time was in the middle of two Bigfoot hotspots in NYS - Whitehall and Kinderhook.

The ape theory seems like nonsense to me. An ape doesn't have have language, or make things with it's hands. That alone rules out apes. They may retain some ape characteristics but are closer to humans. Therein why so many people try to belittle the subject. Nobody wants to believe we have distant relatives in the forest because that opens up a whole can of worms no one wants to get into. Look what discovering some rare owls caused. Can you imagine admitting that we have a different branch of family living in the forests virtually everywhere. Do they have rights and protections? Etc. It would be a nightmare scenario to the government and multiple industries. So they will do their best to keep it a myth

I’m in Australia 🇦🇺 I used to work in the timber industry here in Queensland, our job was to cut anything that would interfere with power lines .
This would obviously take us into some pretty remote places. I have seen weird triangles made of sticks, massive logs jammed into forks of trees in groups and bedded areas. Heard knocks many times and trees snapped but never saw anything, a couple of guys in my crew new what it was about but we never mentioned them much . Just the odd comments of oh there’s a strange place to build a stick pyramid or cubby house 😏 that kind of stuff.
I put our lack of sightings down to the amount of noise we would make with the saws and falling trees. I’m very cautious in the bush these days and NEVER GO IN ALONE anywhere remote.

Does every believer in bigfoot believe also in the existance of God, if not why ? I'm under the impression, it would take a determined action of belief in either case. Would love to see a discussion with bigfooters and christians. Keep up the good content. Believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see😂

So based off of basic math few thousand per state their are hundred of thousands of these creatures because we have been talking about them in our native culture for thousands of years

With all of these nesting sites found….did you find hair and if so was it analyzed ? What were the results ? There had to be hair , prints etc etc at these sites. I’m not trying to facetious however you seem to be stuck on the great ape theory , however we ALL KNOW these creatures are sooooo much smarter than any ape , chimp , orangutan or gorilla. Keep an open mind……great video.

@joeherrera2401 its not anything worse than where I have been. I've seen the photos, it's rugged but not so rugged they can't get there. If they do have this evidence which I'm sure they do if this is legit then they are sitting on it for now. Probably the smart thing to do. I highly doubt they would go through all of this and not consider collecting anything that could pop the cork on this mystery or close the door for good on it.
