      The secret is to be patient in regards to allowing it to set and also using a very high quality modelling paste (it makes it so much easier). Thankyou so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback it means an awful lot x

      I know it's an old tutorial but with the cost of living crisis if there are any bakers out there wanting to make thsi now it's so much cheaper to just use a Muller Rice pot rather than purchasing the formers you can buy x

    Can I use fondant to make the items instead of modeling paste?

    • @RachelsEnchantingCakes
      @RachelsEnchantingCakes  2 роки тому +1

      For the handle it's best to use modelling paste for all other features you can use fondant x

    Is modelling paste same as gum paste which is used to make flowers ?

    • @RachelsEnchantingCakes
      @RachelsEnchantingCakes  2 роки тому

      It is yes, exactly the same, and as you will know if you make sugar flowers when it's left to air dry it sets lovely and hard x

    If I make this a week in advance how to I store it until the day

    • @RachelsEnchantingCakes
      @RachelsEnchantingCakes  2 роки тому

      I store my sugar work in my oven with the oven light on. Due to the seal on the oven and the small amount of heat generated from the light it is the perfect place to avoid any type of sugar work from going soft again because it's a lovely dry environment with no humidity
