I am super happy with my punctual plugs. I had tried so many other therapies but while they helped, they didn’t solve the problem. The Prokera devices were great at healing the damage, but incredibly uncomfortable. I can’t feel the plugs and my eyes are much more comfortable.
@@RyanReviewsOptometry my current idea is getting this with probing to try and cure it. Would this mean I will basically be cured if this disease as its ruined my life

Great information I’ve had these done and you don’t even know they’re there! As easy as described !
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We agree that they are a fantastic option for people with dry eye 👁
How are you feeling now? Is it worth putting these plugs?
Have your dry eyes improved after that?

Getting this done on Friday 9-4-20 I have BRVO in my left eye with edema.
Hopefully it helps with your dry eye disease!
@@RyanReviewsOptometry I hope so! I'll come back and comment how it went 👍🏻
@@cynthiareyes3138 how’d it go?
I did & they helped but both dislodged at the 1 yr mark. I'm looking at getting them replaced.
Do they really help I need. To. Know. Thanks
Yes, they do help and are worth exploring with your eye doctor.
Can it be used for MGD?
It’s not a direct treatment of the meibomian glands but can aid in dry eye disease management in general.

@@user-qj7fp9ug7j unfortunately, no. There is currently not a cure for MGD and dry eye disease. Only treatment and management options.
