WoW players do appreciate Frostmourne. Blizzard released a 1:1 replica, 4 feet long weighing 16.75lb for 1500 US dollars, it sold out.

Corrections:
- The frostmourne cosmetic is NOT class bound, read the cosmetic text. It shows purchased on all eight classes.
- You do not have to do different frozen gates. What happens is if you do replay it, it will put you in a regular dungeon and you won't get credit for the event. So after you finish the frozen gate dungeon, leave group and requeue for a frozen gate. They can all be mad king's breach for instance. I did this on four characters and it worked on all of them, I got the frostmourne cosmetic on all of them and all of them have it purchased for all classes.
- There is a slight difference in the dungeon that you get a frozen buff that makes you spawn undead minions but dungeons are so easy that you don't notice them either way. There is text at the beginning of the instance letting you know you have it and if you were a bit more observant you might notice you have undead minions even though you were playing barbarian.
Clarifications:
- The Icecrown portal cosmetic is one per account, so only one character on your account can have it. I don't know if it's for all classes, we will find out July 11th when it's unlocked.
- The WoW event avatar frame is likely class bound but every character on your account can have one. I don't see anywhere to read what classes avatar frames are purchased on.
My take on the event:
On the one hand it's just regular dungeons with a buff we hardly notice because they are so easy. On the other hand we get a cross class awesome looking weapon cosmetic representing probably the most iconic part of WoW lore FOR FREE.
This game rarely gives you free cosmetics, never mind cross class ones, never mind the kind of weapon cosmetic anyone playing a WoW character would love to be able to rock on their character... but we get to rock it in Diablo Immortal and WoW players can't, go figure...
All in all I am happy with this event since I get to rock a version of Frostmourne on all my characters.
The portal can be bought on every character
This guy put out incorrect info all the time like pets having gem slots and the first chest in iben costs keys! So he skips it always. Thank you for clarifying in comment.

Battle pass skin is a 2/10 I have the feeling that the skins are getting worse and worse and they only consented to the Phantom market skins. That's sad

they added a picture, a portal and a sword.. this event must have given them a lot of work :))

It’s a 10 minute event. 3 quick dungeons and get your weapon. Just a quick fun one time thing.
Please don't enable devs. This game can cost more than a tesla or in some places more than a house. People should expect something different not just do 3 dungeons and get a cheap looking weapon.
There's nothing new about this Frozen Gate. Same old dungeon we do on daily basis. So much for a WOW colab. Didn't expect much when it comes to Netease/Bliz.

Not entirely 'nothing', but a very small change: during the event pretty much all classes experiencing a bit of being a necro, with all the 'undead pets' being raised around.
But yeah, almost no change, unless the new cosmetics.
You can do the same frozen gate 3 times. Also dungeon give you skeletons that follow you in the dungeon only.
I ran it solo as a demon hunter and I had some nacromancer-ish help. Like an extra CPU archers killing monsters with me lol
Oh! The little skeletons trailing after you are new! I didn't notice them at all when I did the event. Since the dungeon is so easy anyway, having the extra skeletons makes no noticeable difference.
This bp skin looks like it's made of polyester and nylon. My grandmother would have loved it, she wore her synthetic clothing until it was nice and shiny. Im a wool.and cotton kinda person, myself. Natural fabrics. This BP cosmetic couldn't even pass for shiny silk. Definitely polyester and nylon.
I really dig this BP with the portal and frame included. It's definitely the Tempest version of the blood rebirth we got last year!

How did you not notice that you had necro summons in those dungeon runs? Granted, not something "jaw" dropping new or special, but that was a change for this. My first run, not expecting them, I spent too much time trying to kill them before realizing lol

I'm about to do my first 100 crest run myself. I'm excited because I'm sure it'll be much more satisfying and fun for the reason that I grinder and "earned" them. Lol

I did the same dungeon three times to get the weapon. I ran the dungeon solo all three times.
I bought the $15 Battle Pass so I could obtain the portal. I claimed it on the Tempest. I like it on the Tempest.
My main, a BK, will eventually get the Battle Pass cosmetic by using the archive coins.
I claimed the portal that is you can obtain from a real money purchase on my Tempest since my main is using the latest $170 cosmetic items.
I got the expensive one for the other cosmetic you get for the battle pass. I do like this months on the sader and with the new portal it looks pretty sick in my opinion.
Also if you buy the battle pass you can claim the portal today and you don’t need to wait. Till the July date they have posted.

Are you sure about the WoW Swords being class bound? It shows in my window as being available for ALL CLASSES bro. Might wanna dibble dobble double check that one Chief ;)
Yeah, you've gotten misinformed there Echo.
As others have said, we get the weapon cosmetic on all classes (you'd notice that if you weren't so hasty, and just clicked the weapon in the event page and actually read its tooltip).
You'd notice (and point out) the 'extra message' in the middle of the screen when zoning in those dungeons, maybe checked the character buffs, to see it (that's the 'difference' in the mode, from running the same dungeon, from its normal entrance or randomly).

Some things might still be unnoticed even If you try to pay more attention, but those were right there haha.
Also, 2 years of the game, people still attached to do 'everything' in groups. Dungeons, helliquary raids (unless not the final of final boss) and other content don't need a group, can be a better experience, in some cases, like helliquary (I try doing every new boss solo first). Those 'scale' hp and damage with the number of people in. If you see a 1-4 (1-8 in raids) in its entrance UI, then it can be soloed.
And in this new event, being grouped seems to bug it out, somehow. I was actually in Inferno II CR already, to start farming wisps from it, but switched to Inferno I, and just went in solo, did one in each zone (you can repeat the 3 runs in the same, but I wanted to diversify) easily.
I like the "event". Breaks the monotony of doing the same dungeon over and over, and 5 helpers to speed things up.
What’s the point of these portals when they are the same exact as the regular dungeon?
This is necro wet dream to have more pets like Diablo 4.

I always buy the 15.00 bp and I won’t ever buy from the phantom market. My only problem now with the game is the lag and DC a lot. It could me make me quit the game after 2 yrs of game play😢😢😢😢😢
I'm stuck 2/3 on the event even though i did all the dungeons.
For it to count, try soloing one, or at least make sure to notice the message in the middle of the screen, when you get in about 'chilling', then check if you have a 'chilling' buff.
I got in a group (queued from a portal) but somehow, either it bugged out, or someone in the party had queued from the dungeon entrance itself, because after we finished it, I exited the dungeon, appearing at its entrance, not the portal's, like it should.

They do fix things. Constantly. Maybe do something productive and say specifically what bugs are impacting your enjoyment of the game.

I haven't been buying battle pass for the cosmetics just the extra stuff you get. I used to enjoy the cosmetics they released with battle pass but the last 3 have been trash af.

It's sad. Low effort, high income, from Blizzease again. Was looking forward to this and it was over and done in 10 mins. And I mean 10 mins, logged in, did the 3 dungeons, claimed everything, logged out.

Idk if it just me but I beat d4 hit level 100 an instantly got bored 🥱..came back to immortal even with all the flaws of the power creep..
