That's a really good way to explain Shadow's presence in the game! That makes me wish they made an prologue similar to what they did to Sonic x Shadow Generations.
Lots of Apple Arcade exclusives eventually go to other consoles. _TMNT: Splintered Fate_ is the most notable example. I imagine once they're done updating this game it'll make the jump.
I really hope this game will be released on consoles someday, with all of the still cutscenes redone as moving scenes instead of like reading a comic book...if you know what I'm saying. 😅
I didn't even know this had the same sort of Jukebox like Frontiers and Generations give you, with unlockable songs from past games. I genuinely think that feature should just be a mainstay permanently, music tracks I can play anywhere are my favorite collectibles in any Sonic game.
It looks like they couldn’t get Kirk to do new lines and just reused the in game voice lines from other games. It’s no big deal, it’s just interesting.
So they show how Shadow got into the Dream World, but not him getting out? They really got my hopes up for no reason... Still seems like a pretty good update though, with level desigj taking advantage of Shadow's abilities.

Hey are literally making it more fun to play Shadow than any other character. Like this is what Sonic should be doing honestly. Like we know Sonic can use chaos control, why not let him in newer games??
@@bro-dude99 because it would make shadow less of a unique character to play as. You can’t just give sonic EVERY characters unique ability just to make him more fun. That would defeat the purpose of multiple playable characters.
@@Water90435well yeah but the thing is shadow doesn't just have chaos control, he has chaos snap, chaos spear, chaos blast, chaost boost and much more abilities other than chaos control that can make him unique, besides, sonic doesn't really have other characters abilities canon wise, as an example, he is nowhere near knuckles strength, nor can he climb or glide, he can't fly like tails or use techs like how tails does, he can't use pyschokinesis, etc so shadow can stay unique even without chaos control since he has other chaos powers that sonic or anyone else doesn't have, other characters are already unique too, it just won't make sense to give sonic their powers since he doesn't have them

While I have been liking the Dream Team updates, ever since the Sweet Dreams expansion came the new content has felt more and more test stage enviroment instead of proper stages. The level design is good, but no one can tell me this new batch of levels have a theme to them, compared to the main stages this ones suffer a lot in the visual department.
Wasn't done in a day. Had the update way before the official release and was able to farm more XP. :) Haven't redeemed the rewards as I wanted to record it.
Sonic X Shadow Generations should get a DLC with the PC and console release of this game for its 1st anniversary. The same should be for Sonic Racing and Team Sonic Racing, too, for Sonic Racing’s 5th anniversary. It will give an idea of what Sonic Racing Crossworlds could become until there is more characters from other dimensions and newer mechanics that aren’t in both Team Sonic Racing and Sonic Racing. Since movie characters are now part of the Sonic universe and multiverse, we should be seeing other variants of all the characters from Story Sonic and IDW Comics and Sonic Dream Team, too. Can’t wait for many variations of all the characters to show up in Sonic Racing Crossworlds and Sonic X Shadow Generations. Sonic Frontiers 2 has to connect to Sonic and Shadow Generations somehow like how the 1st did.
I can’t seem to get the update. Whenever I try to update it on the App Store it only gives me the “play” button. I also tried opened and messing around in the game to try and trigger it but nothing. Anyone have idea??

@@KamusariHR my hunch is that it wasnt in the cards. And even then, we technically do see him join them in the dream space. He just tackles his own nightmare trials in pursuit of his Chaos Emerald. And personally thats a neat fitting mini story for Shadow imo.
I think my game is broken, because I clearly have enough xp to unlock the shadow rewards, but it won’t let me. I don’t know what to do now, cause i can’t really advance in this stuff anymore if it’s broken
Played some of this earlier and it's ok, nothing special and like the game before this once I finish this content I'll likely never play this game ever again. I don't think people are missing out on much with this game in all honesty.

You need to complete the Shadow dedicated rewards in order to unlock him for the main game.
The update isn't live yet, as far as I can tell.
