The colonist limit thing doesn't actually seem to work. Francis John's current playthrough has 200 colonist and even when he hit above 50 (which is Randy's critical limit), the game kept on giving more colonists. I've noticed the same with Cassandra in my current playthrough where I've 35 colonists atm.
I read somewhere that it's a soft cap, and the game will send you more difficult raids in order to try and rectify the numbers. Not sure if this info is accurate though.

Francis John hasn't updated to 1.3, so that must have been an issue before 1.3. I also wondered why, with 10 or 12 pawns, Randy kept pod dropping people on me every couple of minutes. This rate uesed to be normal when I had just one pawn before.
You can get more pawns, it's just that the rng for damage tilts farther towards fatal hits. But FJ was recruiting through heatstroke, rather than gunfights.

insects are actually really easy once you realize that they are all melee. just funnel them through a small area and if they start getting close you fall behind doors and play peekaboo. they keep moving from one door to the next forever and you just shoot them to death eventually.
I abused chemfuel and landmines in the "Garbage hallway" strat for mountain bases. Dump extra chemfuel barrels in a 2 wide hallway, build an ied at either end of the stockpile and when the bugs spawn in that space, they trigger the bombs and the bombs cook off the chemfuel.

Berries can cause food poisoning. Making them into nutrient paste removes the food poisoning chance, and also increases nutritional output by 80% I think.

I was happy to see someone writing "should've" and not "should of". And I just realised that most people in comments seem to do the latter nowadays. It has become hopeless.
I once had a set of ship engines and support beams that I found in a ruin minified and packed up that could not be interacted with. Couldn’t install them, they weren’t mine. Couldn’t claim them, the were minified. Couldn’t deconstruct them, still minified. Couldn’t move them, they weren’t mine. I was so pissed.

Would it be rude of me to ask for AA to do a quality of life mod video? Nothing extreme unless that's what he wants to do but just something to highlight what mods he uses or would suggest for someone new to nodding rimworld.
There is no such thing a nothing extreme when it comes to rimworld mods. You start adding just a few mods and then an hour later you 100+ mods and the game is something completely different.
@@lukienman I have all of vanilla expanded but wouldn't begin to know what I can do. The only ones I know of that I really wanted are made for 1.2 like the star wars content.
Migration herds can do that, when they all arrive together as an event. But i don’t think random animals on the map ever team up to get revenge as a group.

I've actually noticed tons of comments on players of Rimworld that I watch, tons of negative comments and really bad backseat gaming. I don't really understand WHY. And yes some people hate everything no matter what. I'm not sure what they get out of being so vocal about it. :\ Seems like a complete waste of time to watch something you dislike. I find you very entertaining.
To watch bad gameplay can be annoying but when the guy is clearly a beginner learning the game there is no reason to make them feel bad about it, gladly AA never gave up because the haters comments. Thats why i love the MILSIM community, it doesnt matter if the guy can't operate a short range radio everybody just jump in to help with pleasure.

I've played on and off since it's release but never installed a mod till just recently. Got back onto the game due to boredom and AA's content.
