    Stop and smell the roses...
    A bump on a log...
    A needle in a haystack...
    To hit the hay...
Everything is going to be roses..
    Late bloomer....
    A Stick in the mud....
    Short end of the stick..
    To turn a new leaf..
    In a nutshell....
Thank you so much, Bob, for these lovely idioms!! 👍👍😍

Awesome view and lots of idioms! Thank you, Bob! It's fun, in Russian we have the same idiom, word for word with the same meaning as "to find a needle in a haystack". It means exactly that it would be hard to find a needle in a haystack, rather it would be impossible.
