Long Train Runnin' was released by the Doobies in March of 1973... Over 49 years ago. Nearly half a century. HSCC proves that great music is TIMELESS! Sounds as great today as it did then. Special thanks to the incredible Mr. Lopresto for taking on the iconic Tom Johnston lead - and nailing it to the front door!

Growing up in the 60's/70's and 80's I lived this music, it was the soundtrack of my youth, now at 68 and retired I have time to explore HSCC and am very pleased with what I am finding, great memories and many of your covers are better than I remember them in my youth, so thank you for the music as ABBA said

Everything you guys do is absolutely first rate, and when Danny is out front it’s perfection.
The Doobie Brothers were sharing a dressing room with Bachman-Turner Overdrive at the 1972 Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Randy Bachman was working out the guitar parts for his hit "Let It Ride." Tom Johnston was so hooked on Randy's guitar playing that he took the riffs and massaged them into "Long Train Running." Of course, this has always been a favourite of mine since it came out way back in 1973 when I was in high school. 🎸🎸🎸
