Thanks for this! You've inspired me to pick up reading again. I struggled with addiction for years and have recently become sober again. Thank God! I feel I have the mental capacity to retain what I am reading now. Thanks again for nerding out with us 😘😘
David goggins book, "you can't hurt me" got me back into reading. But I usually read biographies. And I prefer physical books. Turning a page is addicting
One the best books I fell into to was the original lost world book. I thought it was a different book. But it was about a lost world. I get addicted to fantasy books. To the point of not putting it down until I finish
When you said you look for a book that you just can’t put down until it’s over, I was saying Taylor Jenkins Reid to myself so I was so happy when you brought her up! Daisy Jones got me back into reading earlier this year and now I just can’t stop. I highly recommend her book Malibu Rising 😊
I’m super curious about books that are written in German and books written in English - do you prefer one over the other? If a book was written in English and translated into German, which would you purchase? Are you more moved or affected by one or the other. Love the channel!
Thank you! I almost always buy the English books, except when the book was originally published in German (duh 😅) or in a third language and has been translated nonetheless (then I buy the German version, too) I just love reading in English tbh but I wouldn’t say that emotional scenes in one language are more effective than in the other :)
"they were just behaving like dumbasses" 😅😅😅 Even without reading this book, I know exactly what you mean. It's too bad when characters in movies, books, shows that I'm excited to watch just end up being like that and turning me off
broooo the comments got deleted YET AGAIN! What is UP with UA-cam????
