I am so picky when it comes to whispering and talking because I'm sensitive to certain mouth sounds (misophonia) but your whispers are so relaxing to me. I'm so happy 🎉
I did the same thing when I read Where the Crawdads sing! Whenever I listen to scary or creepy books I play thunderstorm sounds. It helps me keep my focus on the book not background noise and it helps set a whole ambiance!!! I love it!
Loved seeing Madeline Miller in this video! She did a virtual talk at my school and one of the English classes got to ask her questions and it was so cool!

#11 is one of my favorites. I tend to find a playlist for the books or one with similar vibes. If it’s a more popular book Spotify may have playlist for the specific book. And I also really love sipping a coffee or hot chocolate while I read.
Saw Small Worlds in the thumbnail and clicked IMMEDIATELY (it’s one of my favourite books of the year so far). Alsooo I highly recommend Storygraph instead of/as well as goodreads for tracking your reading!
When I read, I flip (or fan?) the pages. My fave amount is like 15-20 pages and fan through them. All my books edges have ink smudges from where I’ve fanned through them 😂 like I can’t concentrate on the books unless I’m fanning through the pages

Yay another book video! I actually started reading books again after months. It's the Harry Potter books and i'm somewhere in the middle of the first one and find it a very fitting book to start again since it's very to understand and follow (it's a children book after all) My fav books are probably the Witcher Series which i completed within one month even though i'm not much of a reader and i love the video games (which lead me to the books) and i also love comics and am reading the Walking Dead comics which i still have 5 ones to read :D i own 9 parts from like 20 or something. Those two here also belong to my favorite universes. I'm not really into non-fictional books. and please tell me i'm not the only one who catches myself gripping and tapping the book spine and covers while reading LOL
