Really helpful thanks
Thank you very helpful😊
Thank you. Thank you. Absolutely perfect for me. I have tried to learn some Makaton from books and leaflets, but it is not easy and books are expensive. I have tried UA-cam and Singing Hands DVDs, which are brilliant, but too fast for me. I am 72 years old and I need to learn individual words at a speed I can process. Seeing the word hearing the sounds and seeing the action together is what I need. Hopefully I can talk to my grandchild a bit better now.
What a lovely comment. I'm very happy the videos help you and your family.
It all came out if wanting to talk to my son. Then I recorded myself for reference. Then I notice some many people watched and git in touch like you. So I created more.
Hi Craig, thank you so much for your very clear video. I care for non verbal child at school. I use speech with signs ( the Makaton signs are clear, non dramatic, non scene making) hoping we can both use Makaton leading to greater understanding. Thank you so very much 🥇🏆
Would have never thought I’ll be needed this for my child thank you
Love this! All the phrases you need for basics!
Thank you for this! I'm studying to become a Psychologist and this is a great place to start with Makaton. It also warms my heart to learn from another Northerner :) the vibe is just unmatched.
Thank you so much for this dude. Currently watching trying to learn as my son is non verbal autistic and to be able to help him more. Thank you
how is your journey learning Makaton for your son going? just wanted to ask! :)
Thank you very much. Trying to learn Makaton by reading pdf files are sometimes quite confusing. This clearly shows the basic words that I need to learn and teach my young one.
Thank you!! These vids are really helpful for me to learn during lockdown without having to attend online training 👍
The sound is so much much better in this and I love that each sign comes with a caption too, it makes it so much more helpful :)
I'm going to be watching thease a lot my son is starting to learn and so I need to aswell thankyou so much for having this content available
WE used to use makaton a lot in my house because my younger sister has downs syndrome but in the past few months we've been out of touch with it and sometimes we just can't understand what she's trying to say so thank you for this video, I'm going to watch it with her as soon as possible
Great video. Loving the northern soul shirt too. Many thanks.
Thank you! I have a young client who uses makaton and this has helped me understand some words ahead of time
As soon as I saw your tee shirt, I knew I would be “On my way” to learning Makaton, my wife and myself have mentioned learning Makaton signing for a good while now, hence my You Tube search this morning. Once I saw your shirt, you were the right person for us to learn from. KTF.
Super clear. Extremely helpful. Thanks
Thank you, I really appreciate how clear and easy to follow this video is. 👍
I recently attended a Summer job that I look after children between the ages 2-19 who have disabilities or are needed special care and some of them are non-verbal, in which they know makaton, so that's why I'm here to learn. Thank you.
Fantastic ♥️ My daughter started to learn the Makaton in nursery this year and I am trying to learn too. Thank you 👍👍👍
Your super welcome. My son used to come home from nursery with sign and I wondered what he meant.
That lead to me understanding Makaton.
I wish you all the best in your communication with your daughter.
Exceptional work! This is terrific, thank you so much
Brilliant video thank you im just starting to learn and this is amazing keep up the great work
Hi Craig, i just wanted to say a huge thank you for your support with the Makaton videos, which you've created. Excellent clarity and presented really well . Appreciated!
Your very welcome. I've been trying to get more out my life lately is not allowing but it will eventually
So much help! Thank you very much.
Thanks very much for your help so that I will be able to communicate with my sister. Your videos are brilliant.
Thank you so much!!
It's a great video!!
Thank you for this. I'm a 1st year LD nursing student and although I picked up some makaton from Mr tumble when my son was younger I really want to improve/refresh on that. This series is great 💖
Thank you for making this series, it's just the kind of introduction to vocabulary I need. It was never going to be easy for you dealing with feedback from the UA-cam community on your first video (thanks also for not deleting that BTW), but I am so glad you stuck with it. Also I love your accent, you come across as really genuine and likeable. xx
Thanks for the kind comment. I'm glad the videos provide a great tool for you to get started.
Brilliant video. Thank you so much. Would love more
This is so so helpful thank you, I’ve been trying to learn from a book and it’s so much easier to watch then copy
Fabulous video and thank you so much for showing the simple signs and explaining the difference when they are close.
Your welcome. Glad you are gaining a valuable skill from the videos
I've been searching for something like this and felt very confused until now. Thankyou so much, subscribed! X
This is fantastic thank you so much!
Absolutely fabulous- very easy to follow and learn. 🙏🙏🙏
Big thumbs up
Wow, I've just watched this and now I think I'm hooked on to the next ond beyond this is really easy to follow thank you.
Thanks Sharon. Glad you enjoy and more importantly they are if help to you.
Thank you! I've just started dating a deaf girl and I really want to show her that she's not a fad or a curiosity and that I'm serious with her. Learning some sign will really help us in the long term being able to communicate with each other
thank you my friend, i found this video very good to study and surprisingly i seem to be remembering them naturally, i believe this is because of the way you teach. thank you again
Brilliant video and really Important to know
thank you for the video, it was very awesome!
Thanks Mr Noble. Just found your page. This will help us out with communicating with our son. Keep up the good work
Your more than welcome. My son was why I created these for my own reference then I realised many people needed the help that we did. Keep pushing sir.
Craig thank you so much for sharing this, it's been a game challenging course.
my husband had a stroke 4 years ago and still left with very limited speech, communication is do frustrating and tiring for both of us.
I'd research BSL too complicated but came across you and makaton by researching intensely
so thank you and please keep up with the videos, truly inspiring
Glad the videos help. Keep pushing. All the best.
Fantastic production - thank you. Just the help we needed😊. Your great work is truly priceless and
appreciated. 👏 🏆 ♥
Thanks. Using this in my new care job.
A big thanks to u sir, my son is autism and this makaton is helpinge a lot. Instead of paying for class I'm learning it through ur videos
Thank you. Very helpful. I'm learning as I'm working with SEN children primary school.
Thank you so much! I've just started a care working job with young adults with learning difficulties, and I am completely new to the world of Makaton. This is very helpful and clear. I'm very grateful that I should be able to communicate better with the people I support after learning more signs! :)
Wishing you all the best of success in your new role
Thank you this is very helpful and clear!
Thank you Craig for making your lovely series. I've previously done training at work which was great though the stages were done at a fast pace & it's alot of signs to take in, in one session. It's lovely to see it slowed down, so we're able to speed it up once we're confident with the signs we're saying. Myself and my colleague have recently done a refresher/ taster session online which we enjoyed, though I wanted to learn more so having your videos to replay are wonderful! Thank you very much, your doing a great job supporting those that are in need, helping them communicate & changing lifes. 😀
Laura,
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. All the best with your communication and development.

@@teamnoble9715 it's a pleasure! Thank you😊

Massive help, thank you.
Thank you so much! Now my non verbal friend who uses makaton can understand me! Thank you thank you thank you!
Brilliant. Thank you
Great - so helpful thank you
I have just recently started working with a child who is using some Makaton and have decided to practice through the half term in order to improve my usage. Many thanks for this video, can't wait to look at the others. I have all the paperwork for all the stages and have previously attended an in house workshop at my school but seeing it performed is so much better. I can see this being a resource that I come back to time and time again. Many many thanks. Hoping you continue to provide resources.
Thank you for the lovely comment. I glad they provide you with the help you need. More videos will be created and uploaded when time permits.
Really helpful and too the point 👍
Thanks a lot
Fantastic!
Thanks so much. Very useful!
Just been told by the speech and language therapist I and my family need to learn makaton for my non verbal 2.5 year old. Was feeling nervous but this video is very simple thank you so much this has helped a lot.
Thanks for your comment. Drop back in to update us as to how you're all getting in with it.
My aim is to learn makaton before bsl, because I want to be a teacher and videos like these help a lot! I'm glad you make them!!!
All the best June, I wish you every success in reaching your goal
Personally, I prefer the old 'ok' sign. I just want to say thank you and that what you've done here genuinely helps people and I commend you for it.

Wow this is great !!
My nephew is taking longer to talk than some kids his age and only says a few things so this is going to be massively helpful for all our family. He has already picked up a few things but he finally got please and thank you today
That's great Katelyn
Be sure the their parents are bringing their concerns over the child's development to their doctor
@@teamnoble9715 they are. His nursery are also recommending things to help. Signing was one of the most frequent suggestions. He knows some and this will make it easier to teach him more.
Wow thank you so much.

Thankyou so much!! For highlighting this!

Thank you so so much.

@@teamnoble9715 O I have learnt so much from just watching the first 2 videos a few times. Will be seeing my grandson 2mrw and feel confident enough to use some of what I have learnt already.. Will be glad to let u know how we progress with it.
@@Una2007able it's important to not get to Jung up on accuracy and flow.
Keep it super simple. There's a sentence video I do where I tell you to break words down
Really good
It's a year ago so you may not comment. However, I would like to say thank you so much for this video, specifically to the chap in the video.
Around a year ago I rage quit my old job (insurance) and decided to become a care worker with not a clue what this would involve. I signed up to an agency, and pretty quickly got placed in a home with none~verbal autistic adults. I flapped, with no clue what was expected of me, and decided I needed to learn Makaton double quick. I studied this video over and over, then a week later realised that they just make their own signs up lol. BUT, your video gave me the confidence to stick with it and learn what the guys are trying to tell me. With your groundwork, I get it. Thank you ;)
Mark,
Your welcome. I am the chap in the video and I know first hand how much it takes to learn something quickly.
You have to remember that for all there is a whole language program up for grabs. Most people you will communicate with are unable to learn their signs in that way.
This is where you step in sir. Learn the language and adapt at moments notice. The people will thank you without saying.
Best of luck in your adventures!
Ps- I'm always listening. Watching. Unfortunately the content is no more for reasons I'm unable to disclose
Thank you. You are a star ;') A helluva lot better than Mr Tumble who I was told to watch :)
Brilliant!!!!
Thank you very helpful
I like your videos
Incredible 😂❤😂❤😂❤😂❤
Very helpful, thank you. x
Thank you so much for the series. They are amazing addition to learning the signs at the course.
A good refresher. Thanks for your feedback
Hi I am finding the videos great to learn this sign language having dyslexia I can follow and learn more
This is helpful. I’m trying to learn makaton for myself as I’m mute, and also my uncle has downsyndrome and used makaton as he can’t speak so I want to learn it for both me and him
Wish you both every success. Drop is a line let us know how you progress
Thank you - very helpful/
Brilliant! Just what I needed. Thank you :)

Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you
Cheers
My 5 year old son says that you are a very good teacher!
Why thank you. Glad my videos make a difference
Hi there.
Great work you are doing here.
Is there any way you could show me how to sign “what does the boy look like”
It would be much appreciated
This really helped me I’m going to complete all four. I was going to pay for the workshops but I’m finding this a simple way of learning enough for my teaching assistant course
I have paid for and attended all workshops. I can't recommend them enough. My videos are informational and are not a replacement for structured learning. If your serious about your learning and communication with others you should look to attend the workshops. It's also a way of making friends in similar situations.
Families looking to connect with their children. Young professionals starting out. Care workers looking to up their learning.
You can book a course through the Makaton website
