  • This is a video I made almost 2 years ago during the pandemic, I've actually worked a lot more on this since upgrading the monitor, bezel, t-molding and more to make it looks as original as possible, an update video I will do someday but am glad to finally get this published. These cabinets in Europe were built originally in Tipperary, Ireland approx 30KM from where I built this replica, making this probably the first Irish Atari Cockpit build since 1984!

Good work! This Star Wars sit-down cabinet was my 1st go-to game at the arcade when I was a kid. If it was occupied, then I'd go to the sit-down Pole Position II cab and play that.

Dude that is a very cool and faithful Atari Star Wars sit down cockpit build! I have played on the OG sit down at a local retro arcade near me! Now it was a little cramped due to my 6' 5" frame. lol But I did pick up the Atari Star Wars stand up Arcade1up when it dropped in October of 2019! That cabinet started my love for arcades! I now have 7 Arcade1up machines which are PC modded. And the only one that is stock because they knocked it out of the park with the emulation is my Star Wars! Which has Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of The Jedi!

Thank you very much and that is super! It was my first time playing one and at 6' 4" I was surprised how cramped it was vs other cockpits of that era, have since played original cabinets and felt the same.
And yes the arcade 1up version is super, have been tempted by those in the past, it is really cool although would personally have been tempted to mod and see what other flight/driver games could be played i.e. Roadblasters, Firefox, but you're right they're super as is!
