It all looks amazing and you have picked happy colors! That is so important right now. In Puerto Rico we love to dance and music. See if there is a Zumba class near by, it's an excellent work out, you get to dance ( which makes people happy) and listen to music. I'm proud of you darling... I love to watch your videos, Elle. I know you are going through a hard time but you will make it and life will get better. I've been in that situation more than once. I'm glad you get to go see your mom soon because seems you two are close. I wish my daughter was half as nice as you and had the heart too. You remind me so much of an attorney that helped me back in the 90's through my divorce that was quite horrible. She was the sweetest, just had gotten out of school and still now is a very good attorney. I understand all the love for colors as I knit and can just sit and stare in a yarn shop at all the luxury of colors!!! Your bed looks AWESOME! great colors. Blue is always so cheery. Hey I did get the book you showed us for a possible book club and reading it now. Its really good.

The salt dispenser idea with the Le Creuset item is genius!! I used to have two of these, in red, where I stored rubber bands and such items for the kitchen (that was until my son broke them haha). If I ever get another one, I'll definitively use it for salt. I would be as excited as you for all the kitchen items you got, I love to find new beautiful and practical items for cooking :))

There is nothing better than being with your mom when life throws you for a "loop".It's also so great to see the excitement back in your voice as you push on in your amazing new apartment.Just a little suggestion for your trip to Hawaii......I live in Hawaii and it's been a little nippy in the mornings and in the evenings(nothing compared to your weather😄)so I would suggest packing some light cardigans/wraps for your comfort.I hope you have an amazing flight to the Hawaiian Islands and a beautiful and relaxing stay like you always do when you visit the Aloha State.I wish you the best always.Aloha and Mahalo!!!!

We have very similar taste and a lot in common! I love the Le Creuset kitchenware you purchased (that blue!) - my kitchen is also filled with tons of Le Creuset! The bedding is also stunning - they really did an amazing job with the watercolor print. I saw your last video & can imagine how you must feel, having also recently gone thru a similar experience. Being surrounded by beauty + color, as well as finding your joy with your mom on a nice trip will help align you to your own happiness again. I think you are brave for sharing your journey + wanting to be on camera when you are going thru so much. You have to trust that your truth will illuminate other people who need uplifting. PS- I had an incredible mini baked eggplant lasagna in that cocotte (in case you ever want to purchase more) also great for little desserts like mini apple crumbles or mousse! Enjoy Hawaii! Smell all the flowers! (they sell really nice hawaiian perfume oils in the drugstores there)

I bought 2 x Le Creuset minis in the same colour at The Bay this weekend to store salt and pepper...and I bought their salt and pepper mill but in a lighter colour (white on the top and light blue on the bottom). I was looking at the SMEG kettle too but decided not to get it since I have the Breville Tea Maker. Enjoy your new place and all of the beautiful things you've bought to decorate your apartment. Having a home filled with things that make you happy!

I really have so much respect for you. I myself just went through a serious breakup this year. As a woman in my late 20s, it was hard for me move into my life as a single woman amongst my married friends. So many times I felt like I had gone backwards The transition was hard but I know I made the right decision. I'm proud of you for making a tough decision that was right for you and for maintaining your class and dignity throughout. And for sharing your experience. It is a hidden perspective that doesn't always get the spotlight in a world of highlight reels. You've shown that all is not lost and that you have to make the best of your situation and keep moving forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Women need this! Great haul. Love the color palette you have chosen. Kitchen items are my absolute favorite thing to shop for! When you showed the Le Creuset Cocotte I immediately thought salt! That's exactly what I would use it for. Might have to make a sneaky little purchase.

Loved this haul! I think that I need one of those Le Creuset pepper grinders for my coarse Himalayan salt! I currently use a brass Turkish coffee mill for my black pepper (a foodie must have in the kitchen!). Have a wonderful time with your mom. Remember, everything happens for a reason.
