They are original gm ones I got off marketplace. Anymore I always keep an eye out for deals on them at swap meets/flea markets. My car isn’t a show car so I never care what they look like as long as they aren’t all mangled up
IF you wanted the Stock look you should have painted them silver, the steel wheels with the dog dishes either came Body color or Silver, they didn't come black with the dog dishes, the only ones that came black was the ones with the full hubcaps.
@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 Paint it with tractor paint. you can get a gallon of tractor paint for $65 at a farm and home store. The only thing about Tractor paint is it takes a week to cure enough to drive it.
Wheels look great! I love the dog dish caps,...looks old school!! Let us know if any rubbing issues? I had same size rear tire on my 69 with FW coded Chevy Rally rims,... I had no o rubbing issues with M&H Bias ply street/strip tires.
Love the setup. I’m trying to get the same wheels on my 70 but can’t find those sizes off the shelf anywhere. Where did you end up ordering this setup from?
Everything I ordered from summit. If you look at the description for my video I include links to the products used so you can find them with just the click of a button. Let me know if you find the links ok.
These are the 4.25 bs I just realized that I have that typo in my description. If you click on the link it will take you to the exact wheel I ordered. I apologize for the confusion
I have actually been running this setup for a few months now and have had no issues. I’ve taken the car all over (on New Jersey roads) and even driven it through fields for a few shows and have had zero issues with bumping or rubbing.
What offset are the rear rims?
255/60/15 on a 15x7 with 4.25 b.s
Wheel vintiques steel wheel (off the shelf item)

@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 will a 4.5 back space work on these novas? With a 15x7 255/60/15
i noticed the goodrich tires have no white letters, you had them removed?
No I just flipped them so that the white letters are facing inwards/under the car.
@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 GOTCHA!! I thought so

Hello fellow utubers ..

Do you know if it's possible to get a steel wheel - front14x6 and back15x8 ? If so what vendor?
Man that looks good with that setup! Are you on steve's nova site?
Thanks! No I am not I haven’t heard of it before.

I jumped the gun on that question, my bad. I will have to see if they have a 4.5 backspace because 4.25 is all I can find. Thank you for the help.

Sorry if I overlooked it but what size was the tires and backspace on the back wheels you put on?
I went back and found the tire size, my fault. How about your backspace though?
15x7 with 4.5” BS in the rear and 15x6 with 4.75 BS in the front
The rear will hit when u hit dips or potholes
