BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza | Ooni Koda Pizza Oven

- Hello! Welcome to our learning to cook pizza journey! We cooked a BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza using the Ooni Koda Pizza Oven. I used the Pizza Mini-Roller to help stretch out my holey dough! I also added some fresh rosemary with the BBQ Pork as I like the taste combination!
24hr room and a 3 day cold-proof dough
500g Blue Caputo 00 Flour
1.5g dissolved dry yeast
9g dissolved table salt
300g water.

Hey I have the same oven but my crust burns at the bottom of the crust all the way around.. Only under the outer crust... Any advice?
Hi! Ok. How hot is your stone right at the back when you cook? It could be that as you turn, the stone burns the outer edge at the back of the oven.

I have the koda now. before you launch at like 430C. how long did you preheat? 15-20? Your leopard spots are always spot on.
Thanks! I pre-heat for 20-25 mins. But on a very hot day more like 15-20. The breeze and outside temp affect how long it takes. No breeze and it’s much quicker.
Yep I could see the dent from were you pick up the dough. That is what is causing the bent in your finished pizza outer crust. Make a pizza in the UNNI 3 with gas. rhen do a review between it and the koda.
I thought I’d done that review but I haven’t so thanks for reminding me!
Now that looks LUSH! I recon you've cracked this pizza making malarky. Yeh, people will say it isn't this or that or perfect because.... Well, perfection is in the eye of te beholder. Even some Italians will say it should be one way and then other Italians will disagree. If It looks OK, smells good and it tastes good, then that should be good enough. My mouth is watering now and if we had smellavision I thnk I would be chomping on the screen!
Thanks!! Perfection doesn’t make me happy but the challenge to just cook does! I’m never going to be perfect and don’t want to be - the thought gives me heart palps!
