- Varios lugares públicos y locales cercanos al Obelisco fueron dañados durante los festejos del bicampeonato de América.
Los incidentes y destrozos comenzaron en la Plaza de la República y alcanzaron a una de las míticas confiterías de la Calle Corrientes, “La Giralda”.
El emblemático lugar de la ciudad sufrió además de roturas, robos por un valor histórico incalculable.

Nunca entendere porque la gente sale a festejar afuera rompiendo las bolas. ¿Con que objeto? O sea ¿Cual es el sentido de eso? En lugar de quedarte tranqui en tu casa mirando a Messi sonreir de la felicidad a Di Maria también a la selección levantar la copa viendolos a ellos festejar o festejar con tus familiares con una comida tranqui en tu casa. En fin Argentina hay cosas que no cambian.
Que barbaridad!!! Seguimos siendo inadaptados a toda la alegria que esto nos genero. Que triste , y despues no quieren mano dura para reprender a esta gente. No aprenden mas.
