CBA can be such a curse, I too suffer from it frequently!! The weather certainly doesn’t help, it is beginning to feel like we aren’t going to have a summer. Hope you CBA improves next week Richard, have a lovely weekend both x
I am just glad to be able to see you even if not a week off blogs. About the perfume thing maybe Danu's Irish Herb garden (UA-cam) may give you some natural ideas.
We all need CBAs on a regular basis...it's called self-care. You take care of yourself, no apologies are necessary. I love your idea of making your own fragrances, I hope it turns out as delightful as it sounds. We are never too old to learn new things, never! Take me for example I am a 65 year old art student who recently received two college degrees and I'm still going for more. This latest journey is digital art and technology that I start in the Fall. I'm so excited! You and Paul take care of each other and feel better soon! 💜💜
Hi Richard Long time no comment ☺️ I’m sure you’ll enjoy making your own perfumes Apparently it’s going to be very hot late July Agree it feels like October You deserve a CBA week 😆 I find eating lots fresh fruit helps when I have low energy particularly watermelon and fresh orange Juice Agree natural is best Enjoy your time with your niece 💫🌠🙋♀️
It is very autumnal feeling here in Cornwall too! Feel sorry for the visitors as they pay so much to stay here. You have a week being gentle on yourself. We would rather have you well and having a shorter update. I too use essential oils in burners to perfume the house and have a recipie for an odor spray for bathroom and shoes, based on essential oils. Much cheaper in the long run than bought sprays.
I’m looking forward to following your exploration of blending. I embarked on the same journey a few years ago. When I started making my own fragrances from essential oils, I used a carrier oil like grape seed oil so I could wear my blends as a perfume.
Because of time management issues (rather than CBA) I haven’t been able to watch your daily vlogs or Paul’s plot videos for a couple of months. I know I’m missing out but at least I’ll always make time for “Sunday Chat!” 😁
We have had a lot of rain and temperatures around 79F/26C and there is a fair amount of localized flooding still... standing water in low lying areas, high rivers and streams. ❤ playing and creating with essential oils.. for myself, for the laundry and cleaning, as a room freshener/aromatherapy.
Hello Richard. My CBA coincided with a right old case of “ennui”; I’m just going with the flow… not got the energy to fight it😂 So, I hope your new hobby hits the spot, sounds just perfect. Much love x
Thank you so much for this episode knowing you feel a little unwell. Take care of yourself and I will be so interested in your new hobby when you upload your findings in perfumery. May you also enjoy your time with your niece. She sounds lovely. Bye for now.
I haven't had chance to watch this one because of family and time constraints but regardless Richard when I saw sorry I had to say just go with the flow, I know you had a few days off from awatp so jolly well enjoy them. Love ❤❤😸😸xxx
I empathise with your CBA! And agree, I don't think the weather is helping......back to long sleeve tops and a hoodie - bonkers.......it feels like hunker down weather/winter cosy time! Hoping you can get back to your preferred work hours asap. AND, hopefully a chunk of cash to make up for lost annual leave! Have fun exploring the world of perfume - good on you, right up your street. 😊 Hahaha.....I'm all about the base (notes), 'bout the base (notes). 😉 Have a good week to come, take care gorg. XXX
It's been hot as blazes here, three wildfires within a mile of the village. All out now. Yesterday and today were supposed to be 33 C, but got up to 35. It makes me worry about the next three days, 38, 39 and 40. What are we really going to get? Needless to say, the AC and fans are getting a workout. When I was young, my scent was vodka and orange. Now that I'm old, it's Tetley tea. :) Thanks for the update. Cheers ~ Jon in rural BC, Canada
I really enjoyed this video Richard. CBA doesn't matter - I personally find your videos interesting and engaging. Look forward to your 'perfumery vide'. Take care. 💚
Can't wait to see your fragrance video(s) We can learn along with you 😀
❤
I understand, Richard. Sometimes we need to simplify the "to do " list and cut something out. Take a break and have some rest.
We all need some down time every once in a while. I'm glad you are enjoying your time off.
