Cutting apart an LED bulb to see what’s inside because I was bored!

There are a lot of different household LED bulbs on the market, some look very unique, while others look very traditional. This one looks like it could be an old-school glass incandescent bulb, but it feels very durable. It happened to fail long before the expected life so I thought I might as well gain something from its early demise and relieve my curiosity. In this quick little video, I see what’s inside…spoiler…not much. These are simpler than I thought.If anyone knows what causes these to fail prematurely, please leave a comment below. In this particular bulb the base had a small PCB with a few chips/transistors/capacitors etc. and that 2 prong plug for the LED board. What surprised me about this bulb is just how compact the LEDs are inside the bulb/diffuser. I thought the LED arrangement would be more interesting.
