• Aniki Cosplay Review p...
Ordered my suit in Aniki's Halloween slot in 2016 and it arrived Januray 5th, 2017, over two months late.
Helmet was DAMAGED and construction of the suit felt cheaper than I expected.
Overall, it looks good on display but if I were to buy again I wouldn't pay the full price he charges. I don't recommend buying from Aniki. - Розваги
At least you received it! I know people who bought and NEVER received! He simply blocked the person and gave default. caution!!!
On a level of understanding both your view and his. Keep in mind, this you tuber is showing both the best parts and worst parts of the outfit. Also for those buying one, can get a good idea of what to expect. Personally I'd point this all out my self then show people how to fix it. Which he kind of explains already with the Paint chip on the helmet. On that note, Punctuation isn't needed, having just one at the end of your last sentence would have done your outrage justice, Redundancy is Redundant.
To address the gap between the belt and the shield, it's only supposed to cover down to the diamond (doesn't completely cover it on yours though you're right) like you have in your video, the belt is supposed to sit around your natural waist (around your belly button) and not your hips. Many people make this mistake and it throws the suit proportions off
thanks for your review. Was considering getting one from Aniki, but seeing how poor his quality is, guess not. Great looking suit, but if Im paying that much I expect better service and construction
i was going to order....but not anymore....thank you.
mmiller21157 really? Hahahha
I'm sorry the suit has so many problems. You paid good money for it and I expected more from Aniki.
How match do you ni to pay
Wher do you nito loginto
it's 1100$ for a full costume and it can take up to 2 years cause he has a retarded queue system...
Jimmy TheBeast or maybe because he makes every suit by himself and handmade
Aniki isn't the best, I think he is just the most well known. Wildranger5 makes the best helmets as of right now. For better suits, you can get them from Rav seams, Halu, Dekamexican, and Little dragon, depending on your price range. The best Dragon shields can be bought from King Ranger (soft-cast foam "stunt" shield) to match the fight scenes or Maniac (stiff-foam covered in fabric "hero" shield) to match promotional photos. For morphers and such, Henshin Vault (aka Buzz's Room) or Wildranger5.... who also makes complete 1995 Power Rangers The Movie suits. Many better options out there my friend.
mikeg155 thanks for the list! I was going to go the Aniki route but definitely not now, I tried messaging Rav on facebook but no response, is there a good way to contact them? And what about belts?
So, sorry! I never got notified of your response. Hopefully you've reached them already, if not try his instagram page.
For belts lots of people make them and not hard to screw up!lol. Off the top of my head I know Halu offered them also.
Off the top of my head, I do not. That sadly may be something you have no choice but Aniki for.
Send me the links to wildranger5 I wanna checc out his green ranger custom$.
@@donnieblingin7704 Look up wildranger5 on Instagram.
thanks for the review.
I'm looking for a green ranger suit.
i found the aniki web page but thought that it was very expensive and from the pictures the green material did not look any where near the correct shade of green.
i would hot have been happy at all with this suit at that price.
i have seen a lot cheaper suits and a lot of them get great reviews.
my main worry was with the helmets. what quality would it be and what was it made out of.
i bought a legecy helmet. its actualy thinner/ not as wide as i thought it would be but it fits my head ok.
i didn't ware it for long as i have only tried it on but it did not fog up at all.
Great review!!
I belive that in hopes to full fill orders, he may have obtained workers who are not to his standards
If I paid $1000 for something, and got this type of quality and defects I would do a charge back to my Credit Card company. That type of shit would not fly with me. Fuck outta here. You've got some serious patience. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the informative video. Good to know before investing so much money
its like a 2 in 1 because you can remove sheild and arm bands and dragon dagger holster so its armoured and regular
Try spray paint to fix the helmet, normal paint won't fix it unfortunately. (make sure you do it in warm weather though because when it's cold weather the paint doesn't stick.)
I think "disappointed" is putting it mildly dude. I'd be p***ed altogether. I was considering Aniki but was discouraged through other videos like this.
Yeah I was pissed for a while, but at the end of the day it's still a full-scale Ranger in my apartment. Shame it cost so much but hopefully others learn from my experience.
I wouldn't go as far as saying Aniki isn't a good place to buy, however. Having a chance to research after this video helps, basically buy the best from either store to make the best Power Ranger Suit possible.
He should be using the hook side of the velcro on the cloth to prevent the hooking issue.
$mart thinker....
would shoulderpads help you make your shoulders a bit bigger and wider and with that cancel out the oversized should parts of the suit? :)
I ordered my suit 09/01/16 and it arrived on my door step on 06/23/17. I ordered the Green Ranger "Bat in the Sun" version. The Helmet was fine (Gets hot and fogs up). The boots wont zip up due to my calves being bigger than a 10 year old child's. The arm bands are very tight. If I flex at all or basically make a fist they come undone (Velcro). The shoulder pads are awful they don't actually fit on the shoulder. So consider measurements a tad bigger on the calves and biceps. Other than that the suit is great. Contact was pretty much 24 hours or less. I don't think it should of taken almost 10 months.
hey bro , where i can get , the green ranger helmet? thanks!!
And I was considering using them as my preferred vendor for my Mammoth Ranger Black. Yeah, I'll just stick to going to various vendors instead for my cosplay as I'm hearing a lot of the same criticisms from even my own friends. Thank you.
Id probably look for someone else to make the Chest piece and Belt, Fix the Helmets Chipping issue then Look for a tailor that can refit the suit. But...having bought it already, only pushes the issue of Spending too much for shit.
Has anyone recently been to Aniki? I'm searching it on my phone and it only shows Mighty Morphin, and nothing else
Do you know what the suit is made of.Is it made of 100% Spandex or a Spandex blend?
How did you bay it
all that damn velcro use is ridiculous. I agree with your assessment of the suit totally...especially with the "sharpee belt".. you would have been better off buying a belt and morpher from Toys R Us for goodness sake. and the helmet situation is the nail in the coffin for me...omg
It would be best if you could go and see the product in person and get fitted right there
Wher do you ni to log into.
Where did you buy your mannequin from?
You csn copy the style of the command center where they change suit the mmpr suit is in the back ground standing
How much was it
Aniki makes legit stuff, i have a helmet, it's super snug. Does anyone know if taking out the padding makes any difference?
I really believe that aniki doesnt pay any attention to his customers. I paid the full 285 for a helmet recently and when I asked why it didnt let me pick the color /size he said to finish the payment and then it would let me do that. But I already paid the full amount soooo idk
Instant subscribe, and can someone ask Aniki for just the suit and shield?
Nice
I'm looking to buy a green ranger suit with the boots & gloves.
Im 160lbs /5 11 on the slender build I wanna know what will be a good size to go with i want mine to fit like how yours fit you.
where did u buy the mannequin?
Ah, sharpie, the cosplayer's last ditch effort~ I've been there XD
Agreed on its usefulness, but at $1000 a suit I'd like something more than a one dollar sharpie scribble.
How u feel about the legacy helmet
the white ranger one from Hasbro is decent and would make for a great Halloween costume helmet but not amazing for cosplay without a little work the old ones by Bandai are just crap they're overly large like giant and the paint isn't accurate at all like there was a really good Iron-man helmet for like 20 bucks better than the Bandai ones which were what like 70 buck on release totally not worth it.
long story short the white ranger one is decent and you gotta be the judge on if it's worth the price but I'd say it's maybe worth it for someone that doesn't want to pay like 150 to 300 bucks for a prop replica one.
I’ve been waiting 2 years now.
Foxhound did you receive ur order.?
3 years i have been waiting too. aniki doesn't answer any mail
Like!
That helmet defect IS NOT a tiny deal. Not to mention the SHARPIE lines..LOL WUT
there are better options than aniki so many people run to aniki where they are much others that are much better like halu kamennemoy etc
Ah yes Aniki Cosplay. Sadly h has fallen from grace, once great now a mess with poorer and poorer quality and questionable business practices (btw the photo he sent you of "your suit" was likely a stock photo of someone elses from ages ago, he has been caught doing that before.)
Unfortunately you get what you pay for (and I'm not saying Aniki's price is "cheap" by any means) Aniki is actually one of the cheapest priced Ranger gear makers out there and is the only person you can go to, to get an entire completed suit from but as you've said quality, communication and wait times in particular suck. If you want the best quality you would need to go to a variety of makers to get different parts of the suit from each one which costs considerably more. For example the best shield maker used a zipper instead of velcro (thus nullifying the bubbling up on the neck issues) and their are boyd suit makers who only do suits not helmets so their quality control is far better. Speaking of shields one thing you could try on your shield to stop it from sticking out so much away from your body/chest is heat the inside area on the shield that goes over your shoulders and down your chest with a hair dryer to warm the foam and then bend it into a better curve. If you want a list of better makers for pieces or someone to fix your helmet let me know but sadly it's all costly or a green ranger helmet for your friend (quality will be good and you won't be screwed around for 6+ months)
PR Mayhem yeah for sure, I may want to pick up a better shield and suit in the future. If you have any leads I'd love to get recommendations.
Alex McGrath best guy for shield is "Manuel Man Iac Urbaneck" on Facebook. He made mine, very good quality and very show accurate.
for a better suit contact Dekamexican on facebook
PR Mayhem thanks! Wish I had gone with these options from the start.
I would be interested in other/better options, please. I saw your suggestions about the suit and shield. How about the rest? Particularly the helmet? Thanks!
I feel bad for you, you buy something that means a lot and you spend all that money and he can't even do it right.
🥶🥶🥶🥶🤯🤯😱😱😱
not worth that much, in my opinion bad quality
Lol "bib"
That's why I make my own shields. They are pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
He shouldn't feel the need to include glue. I call this shotty work for someone charging so much. Not worth it.
Wow... you paid $1k for that???
You got ripped off big time man...
You keep referring to Aniki as a "he." You do realize there's about 10+ of them working as a group right? That's also why the pieces are inconsistent. He has a glove guy, a spandex guy, an armor guy, a boots guy, a belt guy, and "He" himself is the helmet guy.
Oh really? who are you, the He/She/Trangender police?
For aniki, please stop scamming AND
Stop taking more orders while the others are still waiting
