I have watched many of these napkin videos, and this is the best. It really speaks to my taste, and the detailed touches make all the difference. Thank you!!!
Hello, I want to make a napkin card, so I went on UA-cam looking for a tutorial, and there you were! I hadn't thought about embossing it, but you showed me how with Anna's old embossing folders, and I loved it! I have those old embossing folders, all of them, and never used them as I kept buying newer ones. Thank you for teaching me how to use them, and I will do so! Your cards here are fabulous!!
How great. I’m so happy you found the video at just the right time! Isn’t it nice to pull out something you’ve had for a long time, like the embossing folders, and use them? Have fun!
I also had trouble hearing you. Your cards are beautiful. Glad you went to the process on line so we can get more of an idea how you came to the conclusion. Thanks again!💕
@@ASoulsHeartbeat I was listening on my I pad but I do know that the volume is not so good on my laptop. So I think it is more to do with the device we are using!
Hi Patty! New subbie here! I watched Janna’s video today where you met her and gifted her some of your special goodies. Love your work. Will watch more of your video’s! Love your style! Thanks for the inspiration!
🌸Thanks a lot! Beautiful napkins! Amazing cards you made. I love them!! Congrats!! 🎈 One question : what can be done with the white sheets removed from the napkins? I don't throw them away thinking i could use them for something and now you mentioned. Thank you!
Hello there. You can use the white part of the napkins by stamping on them and use them just as you would tissue paper or any light weight paper. A great use is to stamps words or sentiments. They look so amazing on a project. You can also crumple, glue and collage them for an interesting underlaying to a page or book cover. Once glued (or Mod Podged) you can use a variety of mediums on them to change the color to your project. Hope that helps. thanks for watching my videos.
Very beautiful cards. Your embossing folder with the window is fabulous :))) I`ve been doing the same with the other two white layers (I stamp them with images and use them for collaged scrap masterboards and other projects). For decoupaging on cards, I use a simple glue stick. For me, it`s the quickest and easiest no-mess solution. Also, when decoupaging on cards, you don`t need to cover the image with glue and that`s why I love using the glue stick.
Hi from Australia. Excellent video, thanks for sharing. I have used tacky glue but never thought to emboss. Guess what I'm doing today with a HUGE pile of beautiful napkins. A friend gave me a bunch of Christmas napkins so endless possibilities. The challenge at Christmas is to get motivated when it is 100 degrees outside so I think I'll tackle those in the next few month when it cools off. Cheerio.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I think it’s hard to do Christmas cards at Christmas. There is always so much going on. In your case it would be hard to get into the HoHoHo spirit when it’s so hot outside. I’d make them throughout your winter months and be ahead of the game.
Beautiful! What did you rub over the dried embossed napkin? Was it an ink pad you used and what was the name and the colour? I definitely what to try this technique. I will be watching move of your videos. Thank you from Canada.
I just put glue stick on the card and lay the napkin down. Nothing over the top. When dry I emboss. It's just like it's paper and not a napkin on top of card.
Hi Patti, it's so lovely to hear you speaking so excited about your craft projects. 🤗 I love to decoupaging too. Sending hugs and fresh air to you, Manuela
Thank you so much! I just did up 7 more napkins cards that have birds on them. They are great to make on days you want a mindless craft to do! Big Hugs.
Love the card but your voice is so soft even with my volume all the way up could hardly hear you, and I have good hearing. Can you please adjust your mick for future videos?
I love the idea of extending the image to the inside of the card. What a great idea for such beautiful cards!
Thank you Ann-Marie. I’ve gotten to where I can’t make a card without doing the inside.
The glue sticks are great for these napkin cards. I usually use that to put down the napkin if I want to keep the velvet texture. Love these cards.
Thanks Carolyn. Glue sticks are a fairly new addition to my craft supplies so I’m still feeling my way around using them.
I have watched many of these napkin videos, and this is the best. It really speaks to my taste, and the detailed touches make all the difference. Thank you!!!
Thanks so much Pat. I’m glad it gave you some ideas.

These cards are gorgeous!!! I never thought about putting the napkin on the inside of the card😊 Tfs…
I am obsessed with doing something on the insides of the cards. Napkins are great because they don’t create any bulk. Thanks for watching.

I heard you just fine at the time that I watched it.
Thanks Julie!
OMG. You need to utube using glad wrap and an iron to put the napkin on the card. IT IS A GAME CHANGER. I love those napkins.
Thanks Jean I’ll check that out!
I loved your video! You did a great job! They are gorgeous! God bless and have a great week!😀💙
Thank you Loretta, I love using the napkins.
Fabulous cards! Thank you for sharing.xx
You are so welcome! I really love making them
Hi, Beautiful cards! What is the name of the jar adhesive that you use and does it have an odour? Thank you.
Hi Deborah. On these cards I used Liquitex Gel Medium and Distress collage medium. You can use anything similar. I prefer not using anything glossy.
I think I would have liked the uneven edge better along that one side, but very pretty.
Thanks Terri I appreciate you input!
These remind me of the Peerless watercolors i have.....but never used!!
Time to dig them out Angela!
Very pretty!
Thanks for watching
I wonder if you could mix your top layer with a little distress stain and use that on the top?
Oh I’m sure you could. Try it and let me know how it looks.

Vintage Photo Distress Ink, but you could use any color that blends with the colors of the image. Thanks so much for watching Dianne
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!
Thanks so much Stephanie.
I agree your sound is not high enough, also had trouble hearing you!
Thanks, I’ll check it out.
I just put glue stick on the card and lay the napkin down. Nothing over the top. When dry I emboss. It's just like it's paper and not a napkin on top of card.

Thank you Violet I’ll have to give it a try.
