Return to Saturday football at home vs Stoke City FC

Sky Blues played their first Saturday 3pm home game for some weeks against an in form Stoke City.
The Potters took the relatively short journey down the M6 on the back of a 4 game winning streak, with us having lost the previous 4. You’d have been forgiven for thinking it might be another 0-4 just as it was last season.
A spirited performance by the Sky Blues who had made 4 changes from the last game with Ben Wilson dropped to the bench, and Fadz missing due to the passing of his mum in the week. The thoughts of the fans is with you Fadz with an applause and the chanting of his song on 5 minutes.
Overall a very even game, with probably the best chances falling to us although a draw stopped the worries from 4 previous defeats. The draw sees City stay in 20th and a few points clear of the relegation zone thankfully.
Massive amount of respect shown by both sets of fans who stood in silence before the game to acknowledge this weekend’s Remembrance Day.
