    Such a sick collection! If you don’t me asking how old are you? I’m 21 and I just started my carnivorous plant collection in may, have over 20+ plants now

      Thanks! I’m 17, nearly 18. I’ve been keeping carnivorous plants for 5+ years, but only got into collecting cultivars around 2 years ago.

      @@topazplant damn dude hella young and already such a collection so cool, I was watching your unboxing video of the 7 cultivars from Jeremiah, really pushed me to finally buy some cultivars of my own!

      @@ayinwithnoyang that’s cool. He sells a lot of good priced stuff, but also a good bit of overpriced and small plants, so just make sure you compare with other sellers beforehand.

      @@topazplant forsure man, I was considering California Carnivores, I actually have 2 nepenthes’ on their way from there

      @@ayinwithnoyang I’m not a big fan of calicarn, just because they are pretty expensive for what you get. I also hate the carpet moss and other ‘bonus’ plants you get that end up choking out the main plant..

    What is your soil mix?

    • @topazplant
      @topazplant  Рік тому +3

      The majority of the mix is about 3:3:1 peat:perlite:sand although I usually eyeball it. I then top it in shredded long fiber sphagnum (seems to help the divisions, and prevents peat from covering plant after rain)
