  • The artist formula: www.driesketels.com/Artist-Re...
In this video, I dive into why becoming a part-time UA-camr could be the best decision of your life, and it's not for the reasons you might think. I'll take you through a journey of observation, analyzing the careers of Tracy Emin and Damien Hirst to uncover the real power behind their success. These observations highlight a crucial skill that both Emin and Hirst mastered, a skill that has nothing to do with traditional art history narratives about colors, composition, or inherent meaning. Instead, it's all about communication.
This video isn't just about art or UA-cam; it's about understanding that at the core of many of life's challenges and opportunities is a language problem. Improving your communication skills can transform every aspect of your life, from professional success to personal relationships.
Towards the end, I offer tangible advice on becoming a better communicator, emphasizing the importance of practice. I outline a simple, yet powerful exercise that you can do in just 10 minutes, promising it could change your life in some way, shape, or form.

YES-communication is _everything!_ *_LANGUAGE_* is so powerful, and we must remember that language is not only the words we speak or write, but _energy,_ so as “adults” we get to *embody* language and communicate before the words even drop-before we ever engage with our *_medium_* of choice.
Thank you, Dries! Every person on the planet can benefit from this message 🙏🏼 Thankfully, artists can lead the way.

First and foremost, talking about your art would not make it a masterpiece. 😂 It may help in the marketing, but that’s all that is-Marketing to Sell. “What is The Matrix?” Language-with all its Symbols, Signs, Emblems, and Codes. Listen to Terence McKenna - Language is Best Used to Lie, and you’ll realize the Mind is beyond Words-that constant chattering little devil/angel inside your head… 😂 or those jumble of Symbols raining down like prison bars on your Consciousness, blocking your complete view of the Reality outside. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Why? Because in the end, it’s a mystery and indescribable. 🙏🏼😊

I love how much of an evil genius you were at 9, well played.
Also, concerning the upper echelons of those who speak with authority in the art world - many are artists of a kind - the BS artist! (Life experience from seeing my artist parents deal with it first hand at gallery shows)

Of course it is a distraction. But only the first 10 times you record and set it up. After you found the right setup you simply let the setup stay there. And then it's just pressing a button. For the editing you could make it very easy as well.
