A lot of the newer harvest moon games, winds of anthos for example, really had me confused on how to play. I’m a die hard fan of magical melody and wish they would do a remake and add more to that game! I’ll definitely be holding out for a sale! ❤ thank you for making this video!!
If marvelous ever remakes magical melody it will be called story of seasons magical melody. I think there is a good chance of it being next in line since they remade a wonderful life.

I really dislike the way it looks 😭 since harvest moon changed the way it looks I just haven’t been able to finish a game or really enjoy it. I mean I’ll probably give this a go just because it’s harvest moon but eventually I’d get very bored. Makes me sad 😭😭 Loved the video anyway, so thank you ❤

I don’t mind the look of it, think it looks fine (even though it really does look just like a copy and paste of Winds of Anthos, ie. the player’s room/home and UI).. but the click/tap-to-move is where it loses me. Maybe if theres a price drop. Nice video! Keep up the good work!

There are a lot of people that complain when things aren't very realistic in games and movies and it is possible they are starting to think a bit too much about that. If they applied field circulation it makes you wonder if they also applied partner plants for added realism since they are going so overboard as to add falling rocks. Harvest Moon felt like it was already starting to lose its appeal since The Lost Valley. Too many hybrids, too many ways to try to get them, and so on and so forth. Some hybrids are nice but, there has to be a limit. Story of Seasons has been wiping the floor with them since it started. Even doing better versions of older Harvest Moon games. It's starting to feel like Harvest Moon is just lost now and Story of Seasons is the one to go for. I really appreciate you checking these games out to give us an idea of what to expect. I find the dialogue in general to be much more interesting than the last few Harvest Moon games! All of the characters who live in the town have names and personalities. What do you mean by “the old ways” of gifting?

Glad they didn't just make a mobile game that they ported to every other more powerful console and just made a standalone mobile game.

Before playing the game, I thought that there was no way it would come to consoles. After playing it, I definitely think that it's possible since it's a lot like a normal farming sim and I can't imagine it would be very difficult to port.

There is an upcoming Story of Seasons game that is built around that premise! It’s still in early development though so it might not release until 2025 or 2026.
the character design is still quite terrible and i'm dissapointed this mihoyo artstyle is what they are staying stuck to for multiple entries, the faces look overly goofy not fitting the body and being overly simplistic to the point all other characters look like they could just be randomly generated from the avatar creator rather than having unique design aspects to make them stand out and to have your interest, from the moment there's characters that seem completely bland and useless, a mere reskin of you, its not a proper harvest moon or inspired game anymore.
the uncles and grannies literally have same head of you but with two wrinkles added, everyone has same facial structure and eye style, it doesn't feel like a real made from heart game, the only thing i would let pass is at least the enviroment looks really good and stylish.
Yes, with the exception of Justin/Christina. If you play as a male character, Christina is your childhood friend and a marriage candidate, and if you play as a female, Justin is your friend/potential lover. The other six marriage candidates are all available regardless of who you choose to play as.

They mostly walk around the town. There is still some teleporting but definitely not as much as Light of Hope.
