I picked up Burial Rites a couple of months back. I've only heard great things. I'm super excited to pick it up now! I still need to keep reading the daughter of smoke and bone series!!
Dude! I'm so jealous you have a copy of it. Haha. I've been hunting for it in hardback, but I've only been able to find the large print so I don't have it for myself yet. And yes! Keep going with DoS&B! It's super good!
I was trying to figure out how to explain it to people who know the story without totally spoiling it for someone who maybe hasn't read the books/seen the movies yet and hasn't been spoiled on everything. Lol.
oh the ending of dreams of gods and monsters was open huh makes sense y I didn't understand it when I read it. I love short stories but not as much as novels. I totally agree there's not enough time for character development and most of the time their too short. i have mixed feelings about anthologies i love short stories but there's always at least one story I don't like and it ruins my enjoyment of the other stories in the book. i have yet to read one where i love all the short stories.
