Kickass work you did. I've also seen the DOS game played on UA-cam before. I can think of many combinations to play Combination Lock that work with everyone. You're a game genius. I should know. I'm a hardcore gamer myself and ai love to think of good games for my friends. Think I might try Combination Lock out?
One thing about the show's development process leaves me mystified: why, when it came time to do the Combination Lock pitchfilm, did Marc Summers get replaced by Ty Treadway?
Severely disappointed this never got picked up. It would've been nice to see on TV, John.
Thanks for sharing. Fascinating to see how these shows come together.
Always been a big fan of your and Marc Summers' work.
Thanks!! He thanks you too! ;)
Such a shame that this along with "The Jokers' Wild" failed to get picked up. These would've been great.
I would LOVE to see this show be a new show on g s n

I know the incorrect sound fx is from Mark Goodson but is that number of correct answers is from Caesar's Challenge
That was a good game.
Marc Summers was hosting Unwrapped on Food Network by the time this pilot was taped.
I would prove to see the evolution of the TJW pilot!
Me too
I remember playing this as a PC game!
John, this is James Greek and you really should pitch this to Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. And you should post yours and wink's stuff to them as well
Is there any video of the modern TJW pilot which went along with this?
there is a version that snoop dig hosts
Yes, but I can't post anything of that, sorry.
Now there is!

Long story
Joker's Wild is getting a reboot?
It would have. This was in 2006 for syndication 2007. We did 2 pilots.
May I ask who the announcers were in this clip?
The first was Mark Maxwell Smith was was also one of the exec producers....on the pilot, I don't recall. She did some Wheel stuff I believe.
Lora Cain, perhaps?
Andrew Schroy That would be her for sure. She's also done VO work for tv stations like KSDK(for example)
what channel was this on
+Kenneth Mcvay Wasn't on anything. Though intended for syndication, I believe.
