What I recommend if you can’t find a vein the first time, use a heel warmer and give the patience water, & if the patient is dehydrated, give them water and have them wait in the waiting room and call them back 15mins later.

I was asked what would you do when drawing blood from a pediatric patient, I didn’t even understand the term pediatric, the term was not even mentioned during the lectures or on the exam, but now I know even though you didn’t define the word pediatric.
