I find I have more control when I skip the define emergence profile step, and then I control it with freeform of the restoration, instead of drawing it and managing those margins toward the MUs. But great stuff, keep it up
The following question is for the intraoral scanner impressions: Have you ever had any problems with the end-work not having house for the multi-ti-bases? The end work sits properly on multiunits, but it won't sit on the Ti-bases.
The cross arch accuracy with IOS scanners is not that accurate to go to final restoration. You need a PIC or ICAM scan merged to the IOS tissue scan to get accurate results.
Hi Wood Dental. Thank you for the comment. You are 100% correct. You cannot achieve accurate results with a pre-op denture or pre-op PMMA try-in. The best workflow, for this method, would be 1) converted denture 2) PMMA try-in, and 3) final design. There are of cause other workflows available that are more digital.
I am posting a New all-on-x video about model-less all-on-4 design next week on Saturday and you will be able to download the scans and Exocad CAD files!!!
With Exocad for a pre surgical how would I set up project to be able to shift midline, add teeth, etc…basically this Digital changes 1. Perform a buccal and lingual cutback to full arch copy mill cases (very easy to learn) 2. Move mid lines on full arch cases by .5-1.5 mm 3. Add 1st and 2nd molars to cases that are full arch copy mill not individual teeth 4. Take in IOS from 3shape convert to exocad and design full mouth pre surgical implant dentures 5. 15mm bone reduction from insical edge up
I didn't really turn off the screw channel. This feature rather turns off the support structure around the screw channel which you do not need other than in cut back scenarios

Hello MDT, in your case, did you use an existing patient denture as preop data and how can you get accurate results without the preop data

Very interesting question. It's probably better to answer it in a video and show you.
Thank you ♥
You are welcome
Excellent video, one question though! At the end why did you turn the screw channel off?
otherwise there will be a tickness around the screw channel
Correct
I didn't really turn off the screw channel. This feature rather turns off the support structure around the screw channel which you do not need other than in cut back scenarios
hey i have question, do you screw this restoration to multi unit abutments or cement them?
Screw them to Multi unit abutments
