Hi Tim and nipper i past you both last week just south of aviemore on the A9 . I was hauling 40 ton of fresh salmon from Kinlochleven to france in my new fh16 750 . You both looked good going down the A9 with your lowloaders with the old trucks on the back .

That was indeed the forth rail bridge. Wish I would have known you were taking this way. Would have stood with a sign saying 'TONES'. The three bridges (Forth Rail Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and The Queensferry Crossing). They're used mainly to split traffic as the old road bridge was struggling with the load. The new one is mainly for Fife and motorway traffic. Loved these videos man! New truck is seeing good use now.

That was an excellent vlog thanks Tim. I told you the East Coast has some wonderful scenery, especially on the approach to Berwick, pronounced 'Berick' as you say 'Derek' but with the B instead of the D and i instead of the second e, get it right next time you are up here. Great stuff again!!

Nice one Tim, I belong to Inverness same as Nipper and you past my back door 5 minutes from Team valley. That's a better trip than sitting in traffic down south for half a shift.

i remember them days when my dad used to drive a low loader with farming machinery around up north from peterborough ... he worked for peterborough heavy haulage ... if you ever need a drivers mate .. id be more than happy to come out with you n enjoy the fun ... trucks are my fav since i was very young ...

I like how you went 2 different ways aswell, up west and returned down the east coast.
I drive to aberdeen from teeside very regularly so know the east coast road up the a1 very well. Some lovely roads. I must admit i do like to go across the a66 every now and again though to take in those views and onto the m6 into scotland.
Such a shame i wasnt on the road to see you lads. Great videos though 👌

You missed some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, Glencoe. You were soooooo close but you turned off at Tyndrum and headed along Loch Awe on the way up.

I used to stop at Pitlochry regularly for fuel and food when I was tramping glad to see it’s still going strong was the second stop at coney Garth at Leeming looked familiar
