- A cool fangame made just a few hours ago! The entire gameplay is in the video (it's just a few minutes long). The author of this game is Taxiderby.

+bob dash The story is that Red was assigned to some far-flung part of the underground not normally accessible from the Core, but which Frisk (or Chara) managed to find a way into anyway. What one could do, then, is build a fan game around that idea, with new monsters and whole new story based on this side-adventure concept.
Flowey could make fun of you merely for playing the game, crowing about, "You're just never satisfied, are you? You wanted more, and you'll go to any lengths to get it... even if it means *expanding the entire universe-*." (with "expanding the entire universe" in red)

Man. I remember playing this years ago. Crazy how old Undertale is. What's crazier is how more intense that feeling is going to get later down the line.
Looking back on this after Undertale Yellow released with a pre-Royal Guard Red cameoing in it AND having Clover and Martlet interact with her ON-SCREEN, and considering that a normal player would be using the Empty Gun and Cowboy Hat during the Core, I can imagine Red making a remark during the fight or before she dusts about how The Human doesn't deserve to wear "that Hat," and use "that Gun."
by the way, I think maybe if there are more game about other souls, Red will appear there as the boss. That would be an interesting plot twist🙃

red is still kind of my favorite ocs out there. she's literally possibly the patience soul possessing a doll.
This is literally Undertale's only good OC, and the game's best fan-made fight. Especially considering you can actually play it.
There's also the fight with disbelief papyrus I find very good, but it's only an animation

@@Josephstudio-iz9sq normal mode is for the story. It's almost an automatic win with every character. I had a harder time getting the rhythm down when I played this one.

@@leqzoz I played Embodiment of a Scarlet Devil and Imperishable Night until the second to last difficulty but I stopped playing on the last difficulty since you can't get a perfect score and instead you have to know where to sacrifice a life.

But honestly i feel like when i see a cool fangame about original characters such as Undertale Red or Undercook, that you see the effort and a different and new vibe to the original game, and i prefer them rather than a AUSomething!Sans. And if any of you know more of these games, let me know.

I'm almost certain the sentinels are a reference to the orbs on either side of the PC 98 Touhou boss, Sariel. They shoot out bullets like turrets.
In addition, Asriel is an anagram of Sariel. Sariel also means "angel of death" which is what Asriel turns into in the true Pacifist ending.
I dunno if she'd really fit in the game, but I gotta say, her fight(s) is cool.
Her slicing the bullet box is something I found really neat for some reason.
The quality and dedication this was made with can be seen everywhere. I appreciate it immensely, and loved every second of each route. Kudos to Taxiderby!

I love how seamlessly it transitions into pacifist and genocide routes, how it makes sense for both of them even given the same starting point. I especially like how the pacifist route is mentioned in Red's text, how they were afraid Frisk would try befriending them but how they almost feel happy that they were wrong about it. It's really really cool. The music just slaps too, and it's a very thematic very well done fight.

The furthest I could go is making a character in the style and animating them a bit, but not to this extent and actually putting them in the game as a fight.

This battle is so well-made and visually dynamic you could think it is one of those animations, it isn't, it's actually playable and it's insane.
I've seen many fan games, but this one specially is at the level of Toby fox. Really nice way to show that whoever created this is not some amateur.
Chara should literally have a fight with Death himself. I bet Death would be PISSED with how many times she has cheated him.

Uhhhmmmm.... Everyone in the actual game during the genocide run dose that... Her actions are also normal for genocide.. As for her looks you must be pretty dense to not realize she's supposed to be like little red riding hood... Ya know... The name... The hood... The wolf references in pacifist mode... Besides most Mary Sues are usually EXTREMELY strong, but honestly she has just a challenging fight as undine, which seems to be a thing, where the royal knights are very strong... And besides the quote when you can kill her is actually the opposite of a Mary Sue "No-one will miss her"... Should I keep going?
She isn't even "the lost daughter of the King" or a spirit of blah blah blah.
She's just a kid who didn't want to fight you (for a creative and cut reason). but if you wanna fight. she will.

Hard mode boss:
- Frisk was born before chara
- frisk doesn't kill himself
- asriel doesn't die
- there isn't flowey
- time on the underground develops normally
- most of the cast has died before the events of the game (maybe toriel and asgore still live if boss monsters live long even after having kids), only long-lived monsters get to this era (such as asriel (if he never reproduces) (who maybe has more siblings) and mettaton)
- there's a resource crisis (so there's more areas to explore (because the monsters dug deeper into the earth for resources so you fall deeper)
- everything's more high-tech (hence the guardians)
- regarding the fall, you/chara falls on Frisk's grave (which probably has a fountain or something to soften your fall
- chara as the protagonist is an unloved kid that was raised basically on the streets (so the duality of pacifist/aggressive stays)
- asriel is a diplomat
- undyne is still alive, just in an older period of her life (you face a group of her pupils (the young elite) before facing her (in the pacifist she can't fight because of her age and in the genocide she, as undyne the eternal (maybe), now much harder to defeat (compare her to sans's fight on difficulty here, maybe a little bit harder)
- mettaton is fully upgraded, so god forgives you if you decide to make genocide
- genocide boss is asriel having absorbed 6 souls (one soul was absorbed by the bad guy that takes flowey's stake) (it cannot be sans because he can't be stronger than undyne the eternal)
- neutral and pacifist final boss are that baddie that takes flowey's place (maybe asriel's lesser sibling)
Just some ideas.
(Man it's wild how different everything can be just based on a seemingly insignificant detail)
(Funny thing, even though most of the original cast isn't there in hardmode, I estimate that the cast necessary to lead this plotline would require a bigger cast).
Red when you try to spare: I guess I'll just have to MAKE YOU FIGHT!
