  • Kick arthritis in dogs and canine hip dysplasia to the curb with Nutramax Cosequin Joint Health Dog Supplement. This specially formulated, scientifically researched joint medicine for dogs helps your pets maintain healthy joints and cartilage. Nutramax Cosequin Joint Health Dog Supplement is a great dog arthritis treatment for pups showing signs of arthritis in dogs or canine hip dysplasia. So if you’ve noticed your dog is early signs of cartilage breakdown such as difficulty sitting or standing, or climbing the steps, it’s time to take action with healthy pet products designed to improve dog health. And the secret to this dog health supplement is an advanced formulation of chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride. To add to the chondroitin and glucosamine benefits, this healthy dog food supplement is fortified with manganese or methylsulfonylmethane, or MSM, that keeps your pet moving and shaking. Chondroitin sulfate blocks out the naturally occurring enzymes that break down cartilage, glucosamine hydrochloride helps keep those healthy cells together, and MSM which blocks the transfer of pain impulses, helping to ease discomfort, making this the ultimate triple threat. After careful dog food analysis of other dog health supplement brands, there’s no wonder Nutramax Cosequin is the most comprehensive joint medicine for dogs that’s out there. Available in easy-to-serve options, like chewable tablets, so you’re sure to choose the most convenient way to serve these healthy pet products to your canine in need. The tablets smell awful and I thought my dog Jamokie, an 11 year old Boston Terrier, wouldn't be interested but... Well, I was wrong! He loves them!! He's always excited when I mention giving him his medicine now and he gobbles them right up! He's been taking the tablets for a month now and so far he's had no further signs of evident pain. Before, he had two painful episodes several weeks apart, both caused him to scream out and become unable to go up and down stairs or jump up on furniture for days after it started. I couldn't even lift him up under his arms like I am so used to doing because the second he lifted his paws up he would scream... So naturally I learned a safer way to pick him up, and for a while I was just lifting him up on things and down off things and would carry him up the stairs and down. It was very difficult for me to see him in so much pain, he would be so stiff and I couldn't really centralize where the pain was coming from... My assumption is that it was his front legs, or his neck, but it could be so wrong. Anyways, since Cosequin he's been 100% fine, no evident issues whatsoever. I've missed some days here and there which I've read can make the symptoms of joint pain return rather rapidly but they say after the tablet, even if it's late, the pain seems to go away pretty quickly. Luckily even on days I've missed he's been pretty okay though. I know dogs can't really speak to tell you what's really wrong but by what I've seen thus far I think I'd feel pretty comfortable in saying that I think this stuff might actually be doing what it claims! Although, I hear there's another product by Nutramax called Dasuquin that has something called ASU in it, and there's a lot of people out there claiming that Dasuquin is actually better for your dog than Cosequin is, but it is also much more expensive... On eBay the cheapest I could find that in was $41 USD for 84 soft chews... 84 seems like such an odd number honestly but I digress. I am considering trying Dasuquin because my dog is 100% worth it, but since this Cosequin seems to be doing a great job I fully intend on finishing the bottle and seeing how my little man does the whole time he's on it. Definitely try this product, it's very much worth at least a try. Please dont expect results right away either, this stuff isn't supposed to be fully working until like 4-6 weeks of regular doses before you can start dosing at the maintenence level. Similar to other types of human medications you have to let it establish itself into your dog's system. Try never missing a dosing day.
