Very critical point for traders "efficiency of execution". When we're not efficient while executing, all negative emotions start to flow in, and this will lead to unplanned executions, hesitation, FOMO... losses or missing trades, etc
Awesome video. I've been taking prop firm challenges for a while now and my approach to risk management has drastically changed since my first challenge to say the least. Thanks and keep up the good work💯
@@DesireToTRADE is it right that all these prop firms real funded account is our drawdown? for example for a 100K with 5K DD, our real balance is 5K and the other is just leverage? Then thats not such a real funding account. however considerable due to their business model and risks
Thank you Etienne for your material. Is very interesting and enriching to see such a wide aproach of trading from succesfull profesionals and yet they all have very similar mind set up. In my opinion risk management is the key for such mind set up. If you monitor your actions, profits, emotions ... etc, you are able to feel in control when geting to your trading desk and develope your skills as profesional. I am currently reading Michael Toma's book and it great value, helping me to structure a process of improving my strategies and inplementing a solid plan. Thanks again for all those enlighting interviews.
PD: I would love more risk management videos , and also quantum analytics approach to risk managent. I am as well reading David Aroson book, "Evidence-Based Technical Analysis: Applying the Scientific Method and Statistical Inference to Trading Signals" :)
Me encantas tus podcasts gordito! Saludos y gran video!
I have a question: With 70% Win Rate, there is 0,00059% of loosing 10 trades in a row. Why would I risk only 2%, if I risk the same amount every time, or 10% of my total capital per trade, I am mostly safe. Any thoughts?
It comes down to the risk of ruin, which you can calculate here: 2ndskiesforex.com/risk-of-ruin-calculator/ The chance of losing 100% might only be 0.02% but don't forget if you lose 50%, you'll need to make 100% to get back to breakeven.

You should risk 50% of your account
Calculating the probability of losing 10 trades in a row is based on the number of trades that you do, not win rate.
More Risk Management in 2024 please
With that low of risk you can’t make a living trading. Unless you’re a millionaire
If u trade an 100 K acc you risk 0.25% thats 250$ if u go for 1:20 RR congrats you just made 5 K
I could only understand the answers
Don’t like it don’t watch it. It’s free content
Yeah, me too. Probably because English isn't my native language. Still a good video though.
