Nope gamma one is definitely better because he can survive way better on turns before turn 5. He also has a 50% chance to counter super attacks even if they could do damage. Android 8 however is only good with a kid goku, remember his passive loses 30% without him

Like you said, after 5 turns. Imo there's no ONE best defensive unit in the game. LR Golden Fr is invicible the first couple of turns but after Hachan is better. Gamma 1 is in between as long as he has his guard but not after he loses it.
This game revives truly when leaderskills do kore than stat increase. Imagine a 170% leader, but instead of additional 30% to stats, its 30% damage reduction to charcaters also on another category.

28:10 i’d argue that when items are limited no item runs mean less than when items aren’t limited. if an event is balanced around 8 items it’s more impressive to no item than an event that’s balanced around 2 items.

Imagine an ultra special attacks update revamping dokkan and having units get certain busted effects as long as their linked. This can make older units look alot more impressive and will bring value to even f2p players.

Probably to not contradict what he said about golden frieza. He denied the title for Frieza because the DR is restricted behind a passive, so people could fairly say what if android 8 does not have kid Goku on turn and is not post turn 5. Just like Frieza, both units have their “defensive” capabilities restricted by passive

I think syncing up the games is impossible at this point. The only time to have synced up would have been when Global launched back in 2015. Plus with all the special bundles on global and seperate teams for each version a full- scale sync wouldnt work long term
The only way I think they could catch the game up In terms of content (events/quest stages/banners) would be to double/ mix 2 celebrations together at a time until global reached the same point of content as JP, but doing this would create its own set of problems
@@gito7604 yea. The way I look at it dokkan's sorta in the same space as Final Fantasy Brave Exvius to where they have two teams for global and jp servers, the global side being more giving with bundles and discounts, and not fully synced up but still on track.
There's a way to sync the games with little setbacks, give JP tickets, and fix Global schedule when it comes to the end of the year. Y'all saying it's nearly impossible without considering the health of the community.
They can push banners forward but it’s gonna take a lot of effort to match and sync the games together. It gets worse as the game progresses

Alright, I have a challenge for you - clear the red zone with glass cannons only, with no units over 200k DEF. Let's see how well it's going to go. ATK is important only for units who can survive - like LR Cooler.
@@_Seru_ true but did you ever try clearing red zone broly with hybrids when it first came out. It was definitely good enough defensively, of course it doesn’t match up with the defensive units of the present, but they did no damage. Which is why I said I kinda agree but defense is overall better. I just think we put defense as so much more important than offensive when in actuality offense is still very important.

In a very well smart way to bring global and JP off to speed is just have JP have more difficult events and that will be like their placeholder for the units until global catches up and they can do it like a banner every two weeks until they catch up. But I mean that would still take a while but they have the 8th anniversary that is coming up so that can be a humongous way to bring up the global version up to speed have each event give players stones so when the 8th anniversary does come around they have a lot of stones to spend like that. Sounds like the smartest way if they want to bring the versions up to speed

24:30 Okay, obviously i dont agree with mr.dylan here but we gotta stop with the "they're the same character" argument when talking about these two. Teams and partners matter. Theres like 15 more places where you can use the LR Gods much more effectively than the LR SSJ4s. On release, yeah they were basically the same unit, but now LR Gods have a much higher usability factor and are much more consistant as well. In both of their best situations, the LR SSJ4s have a little over a 50% chance to slightly out-damage and out defend the LR Gods. I say higher than a 50% chance because the LR SSJ4s do have the counter in their back pocket but thats very unreliable. The LR Gods garunteed additional super and chance to dodge (every attack) with rainbow orbs makes them much more consistent which is why I would confidently put them a tier above the LR SSJ4s. Now two tiers above, i won't touch that, but the same unit stuff just aint it

As a global player, I like global being behind just so i can see the stuff coming up, but it would be a lot better if they synced it up with JP. I wouldn't have any issue with them syncing up the game.
In my case atleast, the Heroes units have been very helpful to me in a lot of content. Well only the utility based units, like Xeno Pan or the SSJ3 Fusions.
Here's my take
Let people enjoy whatever units they want.
I for one am more of a fan of gohan, and i like to run full gohan teams. Are they strong? Not really. Do i win in difficult content? Hell no. But do i have fun? Of course, because it is cool seeing their revamp SA animation of LR dod gohan. It is cool seeing teq gohan transform into mystic. It is cool watching LR future gohan and trunks beat up people.
The game isn't all about winning, having fun is good as well, and i personally find it more fun trying out teams i like instead of "oh, these are new units, have to use them"
Okay ur a right cause you dont force your view on others and you know your running a silly team. Thats fine but people who run the silly teams and try act like its good or say stupid things deserve the paragraph that they will get
Watching this video over a year later, and PHY Kid Buu is better than most villain units in the game right now

Take 17 ain’t that bad tbh, if you look back the diversity/role of some units were really stripped from role units, for ex broly trio imo was one of the most fun units in the entire game due to their kit being so different as they gave support , and had guaranteed dodge after orbs plus atk and def stats with debuffs. Another good utility unit was nappa/vegeta as they had the aoe ,heal , and guaranteed dodge but they wasn’t made to be the star of the team they was made for playing there roles in respected slots as other units should’ve been able to shine. Now i feel like the diversity switched from full on teams and more so just in singular units , I kinda feel like it hurts teams sometimes.

I dokt really want global fully caught up (for selfish reasons). I like being able to see which units are next, and choose which ones to skip and summon on e.g. If a character is good, then the next character is busted, I'll skip and summon on the busted one

I think Dokkan is one of the few games that would Benefit from having a Synced player base other games wouldn't work because their content is too dense to catch up like FGO if they tried to catch up they'd burn out the whole player base and it actually happened with Magia Record NA and it died in like a year

Not giving your unit isn't "giving yourself a worse chance to win" because those stats will go towards a different unitlity like additional or crit that can also save you. Do you know how many times I lost because my unit didn't do an additional or crit???
