I don't currently have as much experience on Truman Lake as I do with Lake of the Ozarks and Stockton Lake. Looking to fish there a little more this year but I don't have anything ground breaking to say about the lake as I just haven't been there enough yet
I fish stockton lake what area should I focus on for crappie and what kind of baits, I'm set up for trolling and I also use bobby garland baby shad double jig rig, I always struggle at stockton but I do great at lake of the Ozarks, but I live close to stockton and greenfield access is usually where I launch my boat
There are crappie all over Stockton. I personally find that water temperature this time of year is key to finding actively feeding crappie. The southern arms of the lake are generally a little more productive right now as the water temperature there is a few degrees warmer than by the dam. I use MDC's brush pile fish attractor map to find some of the bigger bed structure on the lake. I will have a crappie prespawn patterns breakdown for Stockton Lake out within the next couple of weeks showing some spots I go to as well
I will be on Stockton Wednesday evening and Thursday. Would you available to chat?
What do you think of a 15 ft lowe with a 15 hp outboard stick to coves and the river arm ?
I would stay close to coves and river arms with high wind days but if you have a calmer day then you will be good to go all over the lake
Any advice like this on Truman Lake

@In Depth Angling Thanks for the reply.
Great job thanks for the information. Would love to go bank fishing with you.
Glad you enjoyed it, do you fish Stockton lake by bank regularly?
