- Our small veteran owned tree service was hired to remove this massive pine tree with major decay at the base. We set up and employ different techniques & just free fall large limbs along the way. If you are just starting a tree service, are an experienced contract climber or just generally interested in the industry I hope you find the dismantling of these monster trees entertaining!

Dang, I was hoping to see the Avant 225 in action. I think I'ma buy one.
I love the thing! Check out the 425 as well, that thing has the extendable arm for the grapple, the 220 is awesome but you might like that more.
@@In-The-Trees to get another 6" lift out of the 225, I'm thinking of using a couple of the hard plastic ramps used to change the oil in vehicles. The 55" lift height is the only major drawback I see. What's your opinion?
So we load our trailer using the ramps in the back and just drive right up into it with the wood. I think i have an old live stream you could skim threw to get an idea. You can get a lot of wood loaded that way with a little fenagling. I do see an issue with the ramps you're talking about, 99% of the you're going to be moving a log that sticks out in front 4 to 5 foot so you would have to be real exact on where you put them. Instead of the ol pull with the truck method, I picked up a winch and rigged it up on a bracket similar to the GRCS and use that. Positive- Works great. Negative- Heavy
that makes so much more sense!

Sorry to spam ya with messages! Do you like the Milwaukee, I didn’t watch the video thru yet but I will, I like the longer videos for sure 👍🏼 for a battery saw I have a makita and its handles great but stalls way to easy in the cut!
No worries! I love it! Stride trees has a great video on it on their channel you should check out. But yah I've been using it every day now for over a year.
