BABYMETAL. What's not to love about them? These women are opening so many doors to rock, metal and girl bands since they were actual kids. Yes! The rap part is the most cutest part of the song ! And I love it ! “ yo~ yo~ yo~ yo~ Mai-Ku-Ro-Fon Check! One-Two~ One-Two! Are you ready to MOSH? put your kitsune ~ Up!!!! “
Can confirm you're right. I'm a guitarist and been playing for 6 years. I heard that riff and I just put my fucking guitar down like "alright. Nope. I give up on guitar"
Can I know what does your FILTHIEST means? I'm just a normal person trying to understand more about music and I personally feel that it's just fine...?
My dad used to put Babymetal on when he would pick my sibling and I up from school, back when I was in fifth grade. Been a fan for about nine years now.
it seems like asia (s.korea and japan in particular) have taken creative control of music in the 2010's. the U.S music scene has become a big TMZ episode, while on the other side of the earth, actual creative new ideas are being developed.
Going to have to agree with that. Also the US underground scene is just as terrible but because of moronic elitism. If you don't play nothing but pure generic thrash, death, and black metal then the "metalheads" won't like you. Music in the US is so stale its pathetic.
Okay this is just one of those music videos that gives you the urge to just jump up and dance with them. I really hope I'm not the only one who gets this feeling haha
I can only sing "ine" and "mosüsü", whatever that means and that's all I need to know. Also, when that metal breakdown hits, it hits so hard that I initially had to relocate my jaw to make it fit into place again.
I actually liked black metal, death metal, all kinds of metal growing up. Started getting into jpop and kpop as I got older. Started to loosen up and not have to put on a tough exterior like young men do. Have to learn to have fun as you get older. Good for your health, too. Loosen up and get wacky.
I still remember the first time I watched this and my initial reaction was like "Wtf is this?" then I ignored it thinking that it's just a gimmick.... then I stumbled upon their song, Death (The Legend 1997 version).... for some unknown reason, I became an instant fan. I fairly have an open mind and I have a wide spectrum of interest in music but I still can't believe how they're able to pull this off. Babymetal is indeed a breath of fresh air.

I don't know if i have ever liked a band as quickly as babymetal. And the lead singers voice reminds of one song i heard from naruto shippuden there was this one opening can't remeber the name but it really sounds like her.
***** yesss thats the one well thats a matter of opinion i think to me its kinda alike. You should listen to their song akatsuki then you'll hear resemblance.
congrats for 10 million. this song made me curious of babymetal and WTF was my first impression lol. now I'm a big fan and need to listen to the whole babymetal's songs everyday
The album is actually really good. One of those albums you can stick on in the background on your PC and rock away to what ever it is you're doing. And I swear to god at one point I heard Fred Durst shout out. Might have sampled a Limp Bizkit track in a song. It's all "kawaii metal" as they call it but there are several other genres in there in some tracks. I've heard reggae, rap and dubstep. I do not regret buying this album :)
These girls are going to bring everyone back to Japanese music all on their own. Gotta love the diversity and talent that they have. I've been listening to these girls for a year and I'm still just as hyped as always. Love it.
I was already pretty captured by this at 2:03 with that freaking breakdown, but when that lead guitar melody started at 2:17, I was totally freaking trapped by it. Gotta love this band, man...
wat not to love bout them. there metal chicks..... check.... asians..... check. sexy as hell..... check..... and able to fuse sdo many talent into one song and make it seem easy. check.... but i get wat u mean lol i was half excepting it but same time there nothing to hate bout this.

My five year old son now asks if they are coming to Toronto. Um, we'll see buddy. You'll be kind of heavy to carry through a mosh pit for over an hour. Like your enthusiasm though.
I’ve noticed something about each babymetal album. Idk if anyone noticed this or I’m an idiot for just now realizing it. Each album has a different, I guess you could call it a theme. The first album’s songs had more pop & metal, the second album’s songs had more metal, and the third album has more techno
I like that the label tries out so many different genre mixes though, it makes so many of Babymetal's songs different, both to each other and in general. They're all legit earworms too, at any given moment of the day I have a Babymetal song in my head.
The recipe for Iine:
-50 grams of Pop
-50 grams of Metal
-25 grams of Hip Hop
-5 grams of Eletronic
Mix everything. Keep mixing for 1 minute. Now add 4 minutes of fun, mix for 1 more minute, then put in the freezer for 30 minutes. The result should be the best song you ever listened to.
Mmmmm, the hip hop was a little spicy but still good 👌
Thank you cj. I was looking for this recipe. Didn't know a true og gangster. Would cook too (I see you with the Carl "cj" Johnson pfp
Final result: babymetal
I may have put too much Hip Hop and Electronic and got a Limp Bizkit Skrillex mixture

2:04 This is one of most FILTHIEST riffs I have EVER heard in my life.
Can confirm you're right. I'm a guitarist and been playing for 6 years. I heard that riff and I just put my fucking guitar down like "alright. Nope. I give up on guitar"
That's your opinion
ღRokuღ name a better riff
Can I know what does your FILTHIEST means? I'm just a normal person trying to understand more about music and I personally feel that it's just fine...?
Bryant Randolph it means it’s amazing.
I don't understand how they do it. This is genuinely some outstanding work.
Only the Fox God knows
Fucking magnets how do they work?
The 3 stages of listening to this for the first time:
Stage1: WTF is this?
Stage2: They are actually very talented
Stage3: Holy **** THIS IS AWESOME!
That breakdown was SICK!!! 'Are you ready to mosh???'
Put your Kitsune up!
I think they say "are you ready "tout le monde" it is in french but that's what I think

Miku is a rolling girl :D I am! I knew about them for awhile but I only started listening last night and I love them already

I can only sing "ine" and "mosüsü", whatever that means and that's all I need to know.
Also, when that metal breakdown hits, it hits so hard that I initially had to relocate my jaw to make it fit into place again.
"iine" means "so good!", and "moshoushou" is a lively, but safe mosh.
That breakdown is epic for sure.
im metalhead and I don't see how fellow metalheads hate and get upset by seeing them they are just having fun
I actually liked black metal, death metal, all kinds of metal growing up. Started getting into jpop and kpop as I got older. Started to loosen up and not have to put on a tough exterior like young men do. Have to learn to have fun as you get older. Good for your health, too. Loosen up and get wacky.

This music is the love child of Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution. So fantastic!
I still remember showing this to my friends in 5th grade. They stopped talking to me but whatever they r gonna miss the beauty of babymetal
Relatable
I still remember the first time I watched this and my initial reaction was like "Wtf is this?" then I ignored it thinking that it's just a gimmick....
then I stumbled upon their song, Death (The Legend 1997 version).... for some unknown reason, I became an instant fan. I fairly have an open mind and I have a wide spectrum of interest in music but I still can't believe how they're able to pull this off.
Babymetal is indeed a breath of fresh air.
Lyrics: English:
Tick tack tick tack my heart beats
I can’t stop this feeling running wild
Tick tack tick tack my heart beats
I can’t stop this feeling. I scream
Hey, it’s my afternoon snack!
Wait. Wait. Wait. Don’t take it in advance of me!
All yours are also mine
I was left alone. I looked up the sky
What a sentimental night!
I’ll go, driven by this feeling
running away from the reality
So good. So good
The party under the night sky
So good. So good
I’ll go brilliant
That for now, moshing up
Taking little by little is impossible
Yeah, yeah
It’s too transcendental. It’s perfect
A gal must have
a dream which is surely
super-chaotic
Sway your head! Take off your glasses!
Swing your head! Take off your glasses!
Sway your head! Take off your glasses!
What a jammed, bursting, over-packed rucksack
Take it off right now
Yo! Yo! Yo! Yo!
Microphone check. One, two. One, two
Are you ready to mosh?
Are you ready to mosh?
Put your fox sign up!
It’s a fox sign, you know?
(It’s not a maloik sign but a fox sign)
(Not a sign of the horns but a fox sign, you know)
I pledged to myself by linking my little fingers
What a sentimental night!
I’ll go, driven by this feeling
running away from the reality
So good. So good
The party under the night sky
So good. So good
I’ll go brilliant
That for now, moshing up
Taking little by little is impossible
Yeah, yeah!
It’s too transcendental. It’s perfect

a dream which is surely
super-chaotic

I don't know if i have ever liked a band as quickly as babymetal. And the lead singers voice reminds of one song i heard from naruto shippuden there was this one opening can't remeber the name but it really sounds like her.
Me too! they are so easy to like!!!
i know its weird i just found out about these guys yesterday and im become addicted

so random yet so good lol. but the song that made me fall for them was actually headbangya, but this song is awesome nevertheless

Heavy metal, pop, electronica dance music, Im pretty sure this category of music is called "Awesome"
"What genre should we use for this song?"
"Dunno. Screw it! Let's use them all!"

Baby metal in the house 🥰
I'm crying with laughter over this track. Jpop, metal, rap and techno all in one track? I loved Megitsune but this track is now my favourite.
Fuck it I just bought the album and this was the track that convinced me to do so!
PauseForGames hahahahaha i did the exact same thing!!! sounds like dragonforce had sex with a DDR machine. and i'm totally diggin it!

Dragonforce had sex witha DDR machine. Can't breathe! Laughing too hard!
PauseForGames This is an extremely accurate analogy. xD
Love it.
Seriously! I have not been hooked by Japanese music this much since FOREVER! xD

***** Yeah then they will grow into more "hardcore/pure" metal like Rammstein Black Sabbath and others :D

I was already pretty captured by this at 2:03 with that freaking breakdown, but when that lead guitar melody started at 2:17, I was totally freaking trapped by it.
Gotta love this band, man...
Rubem Evangelista i think it would be better if they use the guitar all the way, but its still great this way tho
Always coming back to listen to this song haha
I'm not entirely sure why. This isn't the kind of music I like, but I keep coming back. Maybe because it's so bizarre

I was thinking this would get so much hate because they are considered a metal band but nothing but love all through the comments awesome guys !n
Because they ARE metal...kawaii metal...and have been accepted by the metal music community as being legitimate. Loved your comment.

wat not to love bout them. there metal chicks..... check.... asians..... check. sexy as hell..... check..... and able to fuse sdo many talent into one song and make it seem easy. check.... but i get wat u mean lol i was half excepting it but same time there nothing to hate bout this.

My five year old son now asks if they are coming to Toronto. Um, we'll see buddy. You'll be kind of heavy to carry through a mosh pit for over an hour. Like your enthusiasm though.
Protip: Never ever be at ground zero in a Babymetal circle pit. Not if you actually want to see and hear them anyway.
Totally agreed. I experienced such in May, and, well, had to remove myself from the pit so as to be able to actually watch the show.
I actually got chills at the 2:04 shift change, where has this been my whole life??
Maybe not your whole life, but the video was here for 10 years already. 🙂
I’ve noticed something about each babymetal album. Idk if anyone noticed this or I’m an idiot for just now realizing it. Each album has a different, I guess you could call it a theme. The first album’s songs had more pop & metal, the second album’s songs had more metal, and the third album has more techno
Its their label, testing out the different demographics. I love them but unfortunately everything with their sound is controlled by their label
I like that the label tries out so many different genre mixes though, it makes so many of Babymetal's songs different, both to each other and in general. They're all legit earworms too, at any given moment of the day I have a Babymetal song in my head.
It's why I love them. They don't do the same stuff, it's all different. I hate when bands/groups & singers stick with one style.
