Hail up , dats it no matter how slow ,as long we don't stop 🤙, keep d vids comin n we'll keep liking n watching, again yall freezing & me boiling hot sun ☀ 😁
If Pascal is gonna be winter supervisor, he needs a catchphrase. How about, «pourquoi continuez-vous à filmer?» He'll have to fine-tune Google's translation, of course. 😎👍
Jeet is absolutely hilarious- love his senses of humor- love how you and your friends all have such positive energy and you all have such a great sense of humor. Love your style of building it has definitely been my inspiration for building my own bus- as for a dog - a rescue dog would love to be your companion and your shop security guard - your sisters are going to be so excited to have a dog in the shop- you will have to have a naming contest with your viewers.
A pass through is a good idea for a lot of long items. Speaking of Skies... I had a 1956 Buick when I was a lot younger. I could put the skies in the glove box. lol
@navigationnowhere, just an idea about the bed. how about adding a corner piece that can be removed and used as a stool. it could be useful if you have a guest.
Maybe move the desk up 6inches? That would be kind of cool to just swing over and have a desk next to your bed, unless you're going with that storage idea of the original plan.
You may think about making it so you bed can flip up to the window. But still make it so it's a normal down bed, not a convertable bed. So you can work on your batteries and so you can slide in taller stuff.
Hey Michael what's going on with you and your friend their Yes Get a dog man the bus is great can't wait to see what's next every thing is great way to go
You could redo the desktop to have it lift up in that little spot could be your 😊dirty, clothes hamper. the best looks great. You are very good at what you do!
You should put a piano hinge somewhere in the middle (length ways) so you can access the solar bay and your under bed storage. For the space under the desk, put in a bottom hinge on the board covering the opening for access under the bed or a hinged cover that will be hidden by the mattress. Looking good, it will be fabulous once it is done.
You could put a set of drawer pulls under the bed for your garage storage so you can access it easier, I wonder if you could get it to pull in both directions? Glad to see you back to building again and just doing your things again.
I thought it would be neat to take that corner and hinge it with a leg, so you have a full bed. Even though you need to cut that angle off the mattress, you can make that into a pad on its own that sits on top of the corner. All you would need is a way to retain the pad on the corner, like a lip.
I was considering adding a leg and having it fold up. Someone else in the comments suggested using the corner piece as a stool. Then at night it could put back to make the bed square again. Thanks for the ideas
Having watched you build the original bed with the sliding slats, and the cushions that converted from couch to bed, that was a lot of work. It was astonishing that you just ripped it out and are doing a ordinary bed to occupy that entire space. And can no longer use the office, that lower cabinet won’t open.
@9:23 the easy way is to put a few drops in the air inlet plug back in the air then cycle it a few times... Done (been doing this for 10 years on the same tools)
Do I need to have a chat with your supervisors? I didn’t notice you wearing ear protection. Also, I think you’d enjoy having a dog. Not a border collie though, or you’ll always be throwing a ball for her. Ask me how I know this?! LOL! Dogs are awesome!
Will you want some sort of light under the bed in the area of your push through storage? Just thought if you did, it might be easier to do that now before it's complete. As always, thanks for sharing!
You could always raise the desk to a comfortable height once you get your mattress just raise it to what is comfortable getting your legs in and out just a thought.
I am thinking about doing that. The only problem is I would have to remove part of the bathroom wall to move the desk height. Not sure, if it’s worth it yet.
It was nice for the first trip but I found it to be really annoying over time when I had a friend stay over or I needed to keep changing from desk to bed.
Definitely get a Dog. I was thinking maybe split board the where the brace for the bed would be and put hinges on that piece for easier access to the electrical.
If I had the skills, I would have cut out a little area of the bed platform so I could still use the desk. I would then create an insert of some sort that would fill in that area if I needed it for bedding. I travel solo, so I wouldn’t need that wide of a permanent bed.
I love watching you build these campers. I know RV's aren't what you normally work on, but I have one that I'd like to refurbish. It's a 1990 E-350 cutaway Class C. It's in really bad shape, but it only has 80,000 miles and it's paid for. Also, I'm on a SSDI fixed income. lol Just for starters, I need to remove all the Filon and replace it with Aluminum. If you have any ideas where to start I'd love to hear them. Keep up the AWESOME work!
Bro, my question is regarding engines. I'm a bit hesitant in buying an old bus because of the engine. Do you trust old engines? Which engines do you trust the most? Your chanel is awesome and your bus is state of the art
I have the MBE 700 in Navi and the 6.0L diesel in Ivan. I have been happy and able to take care of both engines over the years. I have heard to stay away from the newer maxforce engines.
Yes, get a dog. I don't know why, but I'm picturing a Bassett hound. Like Flash, Roscoe P. Coltrane's dog in The Dukes Of Hazzard, or Fred Snowman's Dog from Smokey and the Bandit.
I could but it would force me to move a bit of the electrical and remove the bathroom wall. I am not sure it is worth it when I can covert the space into a new purpose.
Hi, I'm just wondering on your dirt (rubberised) area. Will it be safe for you to inhale all of the fumes from these oils and paints, which you will store near your head?
I guess you always want to work at your desk in stocking or bare feet? Otherwise you are walking on the bed in your shoes. Also, I would think that your long legs will have a tough time sliding into that without contortions.
It looks nice, but im telling you that bed is not easy to get out of. Crawling in is ok. Scooting out with a full bladder after sleeping all night is no fun. I had one shaped like yours in an RV. Nobody liked it, but it was better than the bunk that was above it. I really thought you were going to build a 30" or 39" wide bed so you still had access to your desk that you put so much thought into completing. This cut off bed choice baffles me.
I am going to utilize the front counter area as a new desk and modify the back desk into a night stand. I just didn’t enjoy the comfort of the previous couch after the Colorado trip
That’s perfect ! Haha

I literally got choked and spit my coffee☕ out when Dale said, "You're a half grown man Michael." 🤣🤣🤣
He is great supervisor from 1500 miles away
No home big or small is not completely without a dog or a cat or both be happy be safe welcome back pascel
Friends have been convincing me.
A pass through is a good idea for a lot of long items. Speaking of Skies... I had a 1956 Buick when I was a lot younger. I could put the skies in the glove box. lol
Love that IVAN is back in business!
@navigationnowhere, just an idea about the bed. how about adding a corner piece that can be removed and used as a stool. it could be useful if you have a guest.
I like that idea! I will need to draw that one out.
Definitely get a dog, the best parts of my own bus build/camping so far has been with my dog, Obie
Mike you and jeetes work so well together. Both of you are very entertaining.
Maybe move the desk up 6inches? That would be kind of cool to just swing over and have a desk next to your bed, unless you're going with that storage idea of the original plan.
I was thinking about doing that but, in order for me to move the desk I would have to take the bathroom wall out.
Labs are amazing
Classic Dale 😅
He is always on point
You may think about making it so you bed can flip up to the window. But still make it so it's a normal down bed, not a convertable bed. So you can work on your batteries and so you can slide in taller stuff.
I am about to build also that is the idea I am kicking around in my head.
That’s seems like the best direction for it to flip. I am trying to find a good hinge now
Yes!!! You should absolutely get a dog. I just got 2 myself. 💖
Stoked to see you more active again! If you ever make it out to idaho, you've got a spot to stay and work with some like-minded van and bus folks!
I am glad to be back in a flow. Building feels good. If I head back out west it would be great to stop by Idaho
Jeet had the same idea. I am still trying to do some measurements to see if it will work.
I would have suggested that the ‘Pass Through” area have a long pull out drawer to utilize all the space with easy access.
That’s a good idea. That way I would not have to reach 4 feet from either side
I think I am either going to add a hinge to the bed somewhere where you suggested or have the whole thing open on pistons toward the window....
Excellent ! ☮️
You could put a set of drawer pulls under the bed for your garage storage so you can access it easier, I wonder if you could get it to pull in both directions? Glad to see you back to building again and just doing your things again.
That’s a good idea. I could possible put rollers on the floor or a slide
I thought it would be neat to take that corner and hinge it with a leg, so you have a full bed. Even though you need to cut that angle off the mattress, you can make that into a pad on its own that sits on top of the corner. All you would need is a way to retain the pad on the corner, like a lip.

Yes, get a dog! Labs are a good choice, sweet, friendly and they love traveling.
Having watched you build the original bed with the sliding slats, and the cushions that converted from couch to bed, that was a lot of work. It was astonishing that you just ripped it out and are doing a ordinary bed to occupy that entire space. And can no longer use the office, that lower cabinet won’t open.
Round the corner!
You would like a chocolate lab yeah. Awesome job that’s I was wondering how you guys would survive now Pascal is there we are ok lol 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦👍👍
Well we are left unsupervised at the moment.
@9:23 the easy way is to put a few drops in the air inlet plug back in the air then cycle it a few times... Done (been doing this for 10 years on the same tools)
I love your channel! I also get Penn Badgley vibes with that hat on haha
A home without a dog is just a box you sleep in.
Always the funny man!! Great job!👍
Cool!
Thanks for the idea. Once I get the solar system installed I will add a light to the solar and storage side.
You could always raise the desk to a comfortable height once you get your mattress just raise it to what is comfortable getting your legs in and out just a thought.
I am thinking about doing that. The only problem is I would have to remove part of the bathroom wall to move the desk height. Not sure, if it’s worth it yet.
@@navigationnowhere makes complete sense
I like how you had your bed before
It was nice for the first trip but I found it to be really annoying over time when I had a friend stay over or I needed to keep changing from desk to bed.
I hope your video will come out soon I've been missing seeing you guys work
I plan on getting back to a weekly schedule no matter what I end up doing in a week.
Nice work, my man.
Much appreciated!
I think he's alright for a winter supervisor
He might meet up with his in Florida so we will have dale and pascal together
16:07 Yes, a hinge and a leg to support it. Have that separate part of the mattress be attached to the hinged part.
Definitely get a Dog. I was thinking maybe split board the where the brace for the bed would be and put hinges on that piece for easier access to the electrical.
8:08 Because nobody did that joke, I have to do it... You shouldnt call it a pass through but a "pass-cal through" 🥁 because he got the idea 😉
If I had the skills, I would have cut out a little area of the bed platform so I could still use the desk. I would then create an insert of some sort that would fill in that area if I needed it for bedding. I travel solo, so I wouldn’t need that wide of a permanent bed.
Hola chicos gracias por tus vídeos tan instructivos saludos desde Curazao, feliz día a todos

I built my bed a little higher up, so I have a larger amount of storage under it.
I was going to go a little higher but I wanted the desk to still function as a night stand
Bro, my question is regarding engines. I'm a bit hesitant in buying an old bus because of the engine. Do you trust old engines? Which engines do you trust the most? Your chanel is awesome and your bus is state of the art

Michael, I'm not used to you doing things "ad hoc". How do we get you back to planning and executing with your earlier craftsmanship? Rich
Are you going to the Swarm? I would so love to meet you!
I will be in Florida. Going to try to make it for a day or so.
When is the swarm? I need to get back to wandering.
Are you going to do a roof raise, on Ivan so you have more head room?
I won’t be doing a roof raise on Ivan at this point.
Definitely get a dog!
Yes, get a dog! I was wondering, could you add an inset to the drawer to use as a desktop when you're in the bed? I hope that makes sense.
Is that the Blueberry muffin guy?
Sure is! I usually get to see him once or twice a year.
YES YES YES YES YES GET A DOG !!!!
Get a non shedding older dog, puppies are a lot of work and are super active for the first 2 years.
Could you move the desk table higher to accomodate your legs
I could but it would force me to move a bit of the electrical and remove the bathroom wall. I am not sure it is worth it when I can covert the space into a new purpose.
What if you removed the drawer under the desk? Then possibly your legs would fit under the desk.
I looked at doing that but it would end up being difficult to shift the desk at this point.
Hi, I'm just wondering on your dirt (rubberised) area. Will it be safe for you to inhale all of the fumes from these oils and paints, which you will store near your head?
Did you ever fix the leaks that appeared by where you had put the electrical equipment???
Yes, I found the leak. I will be fixing it in the next few videos.
Not that your wrong I use strapping for the bed not plywood. That way the heat can circulate. And not $100 dollars. 🤔☕🙋♀️🧘♀️
Michael's always need a supervisor 🤔 or at least that's what I was told After I named my son Michael 🙏🙏🙏🙈🙀🙊🐕
Yes get a 🐕
no one talks about buss life and dating. when do you you get to bag
So the pullout bed fell apart? What happened to it
Two videos ago we pulled the bed out
Like Dale always says why are you still filming get back to work
I would probably wear a respirator mask, regarding all the dust to protect your lungs.
I can
WHAT, NO ACCESS FROM TOP OF BED?
It will, I have not cut the sheet or added a hinge yet
Yes get a rescue dog.
I guess you always want to work at your desk in stocking or bare feet? Otherwise you are walking on the bed in your shoes. Also, I would think that your long legs will have a tough time sliding into that without contortions.
Yes! Get a dog!

@@navigationnowhere ok. You are an amazing craftsman. Im glad to hear you will still have a desk that you wanted.
Yes get a dog I have a Chihuahua they are mouthy
You should most definitely get a dog...
Everyone might be convincing me. Along with having Pascal's dog around for a few days.
Get a rescued dog. Yes!
Will you be at the tiny house festival in St. Pete, FL.?
I won’t be but I will be stopping by skoolie swarm
Howdee
Why you don't build Murphy bed give you more space for the desk
I was going to but I need somewhere to install the solar system.
