    come to the UP if you want to talk about a food desert. most people have to drive up to an hour to go to a store. i love the detroit area because of the HUGE amount of different stores in a short distance.

    In order to get a loan you need good credit & a job. People wanna blame stuff on other things but this is all because of violence. It's been this way since the riots. Nobody worth a damn wants to live in those types of places. Fix the violence & you'll see a difference.

      It’s been like that since blacks migrated north. The correlation is the causation.

    Tell the truth about it not being a food desert and it being a quality issue. The people in that area aren't destitute the grocery stores that were open were low quality so people drive to where they feel the quality is up to par. There are many people in that area and grocery stores near by, but are they quality is the question.

    Hold on now there is a grocery store on warren and st antione and you have the eastern market as well all with in a 5mile radius
