“Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.” (Proverbs 30:7-9, KJV)

Thank you @BibleProjectPodcast for this. I think it's honestly really hard to not be anxious in this day and age of the internet. We're constantly flooded with information, and it may get really hard to even pay attention to the natural world around us (the birds and the flowers). We may then find it hard to marvel at God's wonderful power in creation, worrying more about our concerns. I think the stories of Job and the apostle Paul offers the best example on how to deal with anxiety. They praised God even in their trying times. The stories in my view, show us that having material provisions or lacking them should not really worry us, as long as we trust in God's faithfulness. Our faith should be based on God's faithfulness.
Having a spouse with clinical anxiety, I appreciate the discussion on translation. "Anxiety" is not a choice, "concern" is. This is one of the reasons I support this program. Thank you for exploring the multiple interpretations of scripture through it's translations.
halo bibleproject i want to ask How do I know not to worry when my soul is stronger to worry than the voice of God through His word with the role of the Holy Spirit in my heart?

Focus. Don't let your focus (on your needs)be on what you're going to eat, or wear ...
