Dude it may be a comb pick but it's still lock picking which is difficult and takes skill.. 😑
Hi @ricksanchez3204. You’re right that reviewing picks and basing that review solely on locks that don’t have that vulnerability is unfair - it’d be like using my disc detainer pick in a pin tumbler and saying it’s garbage - or even rating a key for one 1100 on a separate 1100 that it couldn’t open. Valid points. I was reacting to two things though: first that they were advertised as thin and therefore should fit in “more” locks, and also my impression (despite their specific advertising to the contrary) that they worked on loads of locks. Both of these did not match my initial experience with them. As I have commented here and also posted on other videos where I do successfully use these on locks vulnerable to this attack, it is quite easy (and despite your comment about skill, in my opinion it really doesn’t take any at all - more to the shame of lockmakers). I really thought, based on how many videos I saw of people opening locks with these, that they’d fit/open way more locks and that just isn’t the case. Again, not all of that is the fault of the pick, but their versatility and usefulness is limited and I can likely pick or rake any vulnerable lock fairly quickly without these.
@PickingPrincipals dude I just want to say sorry I read your other reply to and I was too harsh on you yesterday. Obviously like with most assholes in the comment page it's unrelated events that somehow turn a content creator into a vent for frustration. Thanks for being so civil you shouldn't have been LOL I deserve a little hate for that.. i honestly despise myself a lil bit on the rare occasion I stop thinking and let vitriol leak out of my fingers into the keyboard. It really wasn't a bad video and all the things that you could make critiques on is still valuable information because it's feedback / info everybody can pull something from anything like another channel did a little gimmicky thing where they hung a pick case off the turning tool rather than applying pressure a lot of people had the stuff to say about that but for me personally I got a lot of valuable feedback from it and it helped me understand the exact amount of force really that you're working with and how easy it is to apply too much. Point being like they say there's never a stupid question there's no such thing as bad info if you look you can get something from any and everything. In closing I'll say again I apologize for my hatefulness, I'll also say I think I know what you're talking about when you refer to the Corvette as a bumpy ride. When you say bumpy are you referring to a little bit of a vibration in the rear end that no matter what you do it just won't "level out" I fear somebody gypt you a little bit is that happens when they've been rear-ended or hit a speed bump way too fast either way they hid it from you.. they're like the human spine once they're injured they just aren't ever the same again no matter what you do lol. Keep up with your videos and your reviews and probably even stop reading comments LOL cuz if you do you're going to continually expose yourself to things that you do not deserve or the second they start to become negative just look away F'em 😂
@PickingPrincipals in for just a touch of context for whatever reason events lined up just so that I had to deal with an inordinate amount of liars / gaslighters yesterday to the point that by the time I was trying to relax and watch a video, that anything that was the slightly "off" was triggering me. Great video 👍
Thanks a lot! It is a bit funny now that I watch it. Take care.
8:53 why couldn't it? And why how and when would a person ever justify to themselves making such a statement about a thing that they started off with by saying I don't know anything about this 😂 I don't know anything that I'm talking about I have zero experience with this task but I just know for a fact that I'm going to state that this is not a hard thing to do even though that all I've done for 9 minutes now is fail at doing it combing is just not that hard...
No excuse It's weakness and unfortunately one of the times that I failed to keep a grip on it
@@ricksanchez3204thanks! No hard feelings. I watched an old Bosnian Bill video where he hung something off a tensioner too - I can’t remember what it was but I remember learning two things from that video: 1. Tension lightly, and 2. If you feel for it, you can really tell when you have a security pin (spools in that case I think) and when you are in a false set.
As for the car, yeah - you nailed it. It didn’t ever occur to me that it was due to an accident, but you’re probably right.
Thanks a lot for the follow up reply’s. I appreciate it. Hope you’re having a better day!
@PickingPrincipals I am and thank you for your understanding I still feel bad I'm a grown man.. I ought to have enough sense and self-respect to catch myself in a childish moment like that and realizing you're typing into the void but you're putting real feelings out there you could be hurting somebody or f****** up their day I'd say you're probably resilient to it at this point LOL being on UA-cam but still I'm glad you read the replies and accepted the apology.. subscribe! lol
Sad you didn't use it on locks it works on...
Anyways old exploit, that doesn't work everytime m.
As always, great review though
Thanks! Believe me, I wished I had tried it on a lock it worked on. I’m not convinced it won’t work on the Master 575 since it fit so well and lined up nicely with the key, so I’m going to keep trying it on that one. Take care!
10:18 yeah actually Abus is one of the more common locks that can be combed open not just any Abus but there are specific designs/ types that yes they are extremely easy to come because they have the vulnerability the brand of the quality of construction all that Etc doesn't matter just does it have that f****** vulnerability are all your videos like this where you just like go off spouting s*** as fact that you really don't have any clue about? This isn't a question it's more rhetorical because I'll never be back I'll never check the notifications that I'll never look at another one of your videos LOL and this is the reason why so I guess it's just a statement 😂
Sorry to hear you won’t check out other videos, but to each their own. My first corvette I drove was terribly bumpy - the latest one is smooth. I’ve liked other Chevy’s too… I’m glad I didn’t judge an entire lineup by one sample. Have a great day.

your lousy at this
Thanks for the feedback. I’m learning every day. Take care.
I went to the covert website and got greeted by a disclaimer saying they don't allow my country to buy from the website and I couldn't even browse the site. I don't get it why they would geolock countries from browsing or buying from their website but ok, if they don't want my business I'll just buy a lockpicking set on Aliexpress or something
Your country must consider import or possession of lockpicking tools illegal. That's too bad!
