Hi Blair Thank you so much! I feel there's not enough awareness of SPD, so thank you so much for spreading this info! When I was young, my mom used to put out all my clothes on the floor in the order I should put them on(socks, pants, underwear, t-shirt etc)! BC I really had a hard time just 'getting dressed' or any other instruction, I just couldn't grasp it or understand what it in tails. I am now 25 and I'm still suffering from SPD a lot, it makes me very sad, and it's like I have to work 3 times harder than normal people to do the same task. M6 heart is broken and I feel very lonely.
@@BlaireM absolutely! It's not in place for me to encourage you, but I highly recommend you keep up your work and make more videos. Progression is overtime... Also, I'd be happy to assist if you need anything as I do video editing and would be glad to volunteer for this great cause
@@ybbgraphicdesign oh my goodness, thank you so much! I'm planning to make a little update video soon and ask for video ideas, so if you have anything you'd like to see discussed on my channel please let me know! You can also find me on Instagram @blaire.jpg
Started bawling as soon as you defined Sensory Modulation and haven't stopped since. My entire life I've just assumed I was weak or overly sensitive for no reason. Turns out it's been SPD all along. Thank you so much for doing this series. You've changed my life, truly. I don't feel like I'm wrong anymore 💞
As a pediatric occupational therapist, I would say you would make a great OT. If you haven’t got a career yet that is something you may want to consider. 😊
Thanks for sharing, my son in law is 30 and was just now diagnosed. After being treated for ADHD for the last 5 yrs. He just lost his job. It is so sad.
