I have 2006 nissan maxima 3.5sl, I am frustrated with the same airbag light blinking, I reset and it went away but again after 1 day it started blinking same. Tried the same steps, it goes for 1 day and comes back. What could be reason snd how to fix permanently?
If it still blinks slow after the 5th time and having taken out the key and turning it on. Would disconnection and reconnecting the battery work to rest it. It still just blinks slowly,but never actually stopped after trying this
You’ll notice tht the blinks are slower but it will not stop, let it blink for like a min if you want with the key still in the ignition . Then shut key off and start engine it should come on like usual and the go away
Appreciate it. It def started to blink slower, but after turning it on fully as mentioned in the video it just never went away. Just blinks slower now. Ill try again here later.
Just did this for my push to start 2010 Nissan Maxima and it worked . You must push button twice to get it in ignition mode . Thanks !

You might have a bad airbag , or bad connection .. have it check so it don’t deploy while driving ..
