My face hurts from smiling so much watching your reaction!! Yours is one of the best Bohemian Rhapsody reactions i've seen. I love the fact that you appreciated the beauty of Freddie's voice but that you also were touched by the tragedy of the young man in the story that has thrown his life away. You showed a real appreciation for all the facets of this musical journey. I'm looking forward to seeing your other Queen reactions.
The tragedy of the young man? Freddie's talkin about himself, about his coming to terms with his being gay/bisexual, and that by doing so the guy he and everyone else knows him to be dies...
@@branon6565, I've read that but I never could make the words of the song fit with that narrative. I just believe it's a lot more straightforward, the lyricist (Freddie) telling a tale through song.
@@branon6565 yes... BUT you also has to live closeted with his family for the rest of his days. It's NOT an is the existence at all believe me I know. That's why I not only relate love this rock opera so much. I've recently come out to some more friends of mine and I've only done so because of my health history. Freddie Mercury composed this masterpiece from 3 earlier written and unfinished songs. All those beautiful harmonies are the result of a very complicated 3 weeks recording in 6 different studios, only Freddie knew how it had to be sounded. In the first part Freddie is harmonizing with himself and the chorus section is based on the voice of 3 of them, because John couldn't sing well. Btw, the band members are Freddie Mercury, Brian May the guitarist, John Deacon the bassist and Roger Taylor the drummer. Pls, check out Somebody To Love at Montreal 81.
This song is one of the greatest of all time. And it's creativity and variety was a promise of what to come. And there came lots of different styles, overwhelming creativity and always enjoyable songs. I hope you will go down into this rabbit hole, because Queen changed my life many years ago, and I would love to find out, how you discover "new" songs of them and see how you react to them. The way you reacted to this song let me predict, that you'll love the most of their songs.
It’s totally everything for me on the particular song! The harmonies also threw me off balance, the creativity, I mean overall performance! This is going to transcend through time. Generations to come!

Nice to see you reacting to the song that changed everything!! I remember buying the album the day it came out and rushing it home to play it!! Hard to describe the feeling now - no one had ever heard anything like it, and maybe we still haven't again! Three more Queen songs you must check out are "Somebody To Love" from Montreal 1981 as Andrea Kacso suggests, "White Queen" at the Hammersmith Odeon as Christine Robinson said, and "Love Of My Life" from Wembley 1986 as I suggest! Yesssss, the great band Queen! A very versatile band, which had very different styles in the ‘70’s and evolved into the 80’s. The frontman Freddie Mercury was an amazing performer and artist, once in a lifetime. Roger, Brian, John and Freddie made pure magic together. Their music is around for over 50 years, and still being loved all over the world. I suggest their live performances. I suggest their Live Aid performance. It was a charity concert for the famine in Ethiopia. There were many bands, all of them had 20 minutes for performing on stage. Queen wrote musical history that day. Much bless dear and keep up the good work.
The beginning of the song that you repeated is just Freddie's voice multi-tracked. The 4 members of the band are both the instrumentalists and the singers. Piano, singer, and composer is Freddie Mercury. Guitarist is Brian May, also occasional keyboard, composer and singer. Drummer is Roger Taylor, singer, with incredible vocal range, and occasional guitarist, composer, Bass player is John Deacon, composer, occasional singer and keyboards, and electrical engineer who created the amp that gives Brian's guitar a unique sound variety.
Tracie you just listened to the greatest band, greatest frontman Freddie Mercury, every song is unique and fantastic Queen! Each and every one is not only talented on stage, but off as well. The lead guitaris Brian May is also a astrophysicist. I can't say enough about how much you're going to love going down this rabbit hole! I was fortunate enough to see Queen live in Syracuse NY in the mid seventies! 🤗 Love your channel.

To get a real feel for how this song truly spans generations watch the crowd sing Bohemian Rhapsody before a Greenday concert in Hyde Park in 2017 (they even sing the guitar riffs). The majority of the audience hadn't even been born when the song was released 42 years earlier. 😯
"Forgive me, forgive me" - no forgiveness necessary! What I saw was someone so enraptured with what they were hearing that they needed to take it all in piece by piece. New sub, this is a masterpiece, just amazing.... Love to see you enjoying music from my time. Love that your open to it and finding great music...Thank you, Blessings
"I'm sorry guys, I need to take this all the way back, I wasn't ready for that." XD I'm pretty sure no one is ever ready for their first time listening to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. I was a kid the first time my dad popped Queen into the cassette player in the car when I was riding with him, and even as a little kid who didn't know much about music I was in awe.
Somebody to love Montreal Freddie Mercury has been deemed by science to be the greatest singer of all time.prof Christian Herbst) and he was voted the best frontman and vocalist of all time
Great! When you finally react to this. One of the most popular song ever. Have an enjoyable viewing experience. Thanks for that.👌 Would you like jam in the rhythm of Santana " Soul Sacrifice " to be found live at Woodstock 1969. I'm sorry I can't get a link to this now.
Thanks so much Tracie! I am old, and Queen was my favorite -- along with my best friend in High School -- our co-students mocked us for liking this "weird, queer band" -- but now, after so many years, and so many "hits" - and even a MOVIE about them-- I suppose they may realize that they "missed the bus" -- lol - look forward to more of your reactions!
You really never heard that before?🤔 Anyway, their song "You Take My Breath Away" is not only one of their most beautifully captivating and underrated songs but it's also one of the most touching love songs to ever exist. The way Freddie declares his utter devotion makes it nearly impossible to not have tears well up. Brian May on guitar does an awesome solo that'll make you swoon - it's like being hypnotized. The song leaves you either missing a past love that got away and/or will have you dreaming of the day you get to experience such a love that is equally reciprocated🥺💜
Surprisingly, when it was first released some critics were unimpressed - see Wiki. Allan Jones of Melody Maker described the song as "a superficially impressive pastiche of incongruous musical styles" and that Queen "contrived to approximate the demented fury of the Balham Amateur Operatic Society performing The Pirates of Penzance.."
All the different melodies and changes in the music resemble how he tells the story about what the boys trying to explain to his mother. How there going to get through this together and fight it right to the end and nothing is going to stop them. Making those mistakes in life in Wich he wishes he never made, and how he wishes he could take it all back.
Freddie Mercury was a genius, and the other band members were/are major talents. Music is one of the greatest things we can share with each other. All types, from all over the world. If we could focus on things like that instead of hoarding wealth and power, what a world we could have. Make music and take care of each other.

I've loved Freddie Mercury since I was 4 years old. I would call him Uncle Freddie Mercury. Uncle Freddie never did anything halfway it was all or nothing. No auto dubbing what you heard was his voice onstage and off it sounded the same. R.I.P Uncle Freddie Mercury 🌹

LOVE AND MISS YOU FREDDIE ❤
Love your reaction
Thanks so much I’m glad you like
It's basically life. How life changes and how we struggle with ourselves and how we can overcome what life may throw at us
"I'm sorry guys, I need to take this all the way back, I wasn't ready for that." XD I'm pretty sure no one is ever ready for their first time listening to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. I was a kid the first time my dad popped Queen into the cassette player in the car when I was riding with him, and even as a little kid who didn't know much about music I was in awe.
Best song everrrr💯
Greatest hit of all time I’ll say! Damn! I still haven’t gotten over this experience!
Somebody to love Montreal Freddie Mercury has been deemed by science to be the greatest singer of all time.prof Christian Herbst) and he was voted the best frontman and vocalist of all time
Hahaha let’s amplify this! You can say that again
Great! When you finally react to this.
One of the most popular song ever.
Have an enjoyable viewing experience. Thanks for that.👌
Would you like jam in the rhythm of
Santana " Soul Sacrifice " to be found live at Woodstock 1969.
I'm sorry I can't get a link to this now.
I’ll find it I’m sure 😀, and will check it out. Thanks for watching
"all the way back, guys" that's what I was hoping for!
These four guys are fing queen!
Wow 🥰 loved your reaction liked subscribed 😁 more queen reactions please 😍❤️ Freddie Mercury ❤️
If Freddie could see your reaction he’d say….’Mission Accomplished’. This is art. This is music. This piece is eternal.
All the different melodies and changes in the music resemble how he tells the story about what the boys trying to explain to his mother. How there going to get through this together and fight it right to the end and nothing is going to stop them. Making those mistakes in life in Wich he wishes he never made, and how he wishes he could take it all back.
You never pauze this song..never
You get it!
React to this song live 5 years later in Montreal equally amazing...this song is the most listened to online over 1 billion!!!!!!!!!
This song is spectacular! I totally felt it! They raised the bar so high
This song is from their album "Night at the Opera" it is rock opera!
Freddie Mercury was a genius, and the other band members were/are major talents. Music is one of the greatest things we can share with each other. All types, from all over the world. If we could focus on things like that instead of hoarding wealth and power, what a world we could have. Make music and take care of each other.
Welcome to Queen.....Good aren't they :-)
Spectacular 🥰
❤️ Timeless classic! ❤️
... don't think Diana Ankudinova did this song, but Angelina Jordan did a short version on AGT, maybe you heard that one?
... great reaction! ❤️
Oh I guess yea I think it was Angelina Jordan, my mistake 😅

This is just a piece of art. Nothing else to say.
This song is a roller coaster, Honey. You’ve just got to adjust your headphones and hang on for the ride.
great reaction :))
Freddie was EXCEPTIONAL at being a broad spectrum musician... guitar ..piano... vocals for days.... and his ability to connect with the listener
Freddie was really big on clearly annunciating every syllable that came out of his sound hole.
What did we just listen to?.............A one in a million song that (I quote) "Will be No1 for centuries!" You look like you got hit by the musical equivalent of a taser. STUNNED is the only word to describe your reaction.
It’s magic! MAGIC is also a killer song. That is Roger Taylor on drums, Brian May on guitar.
Greatest song ever recorded
Gosh I agree
Only thing better than listening to this song was being there seeing it
Life 🤗

Enjoyed the ride then!! I love it when you youngsters find Queen and The Freddie Mercury, no disrespect, but you all think you know about music but this is music. This is just voice and instruments, none of your extras to make it sound more than it is. Just PURE!
The lovely harmony in the into that you played two times was actually Freddie Mercury singing 4-part harmony all by himself, compare it to the group singing in the operatic section.
