"Office GIF? This person isn't gay." LOL 😂
I like how he makes a point to say that he's not trying to exclude non-LGBTQ actors in revenge for the exclusion they have historically faced. Jordan Peele, take a note.

I think most of America finds this guy annoying. It's time to let him go.

I didn't like the movie was off. I just saw smiley in Netflix and it was way better than this movie. I think casting and writing was off.

Also, why isn't he over using the phrase "canary in the coal mine"? Clearly that phrase belongs to the gays

My first comment was "too flailing, I can't provide feedback"
But ho, I will not cop out.
The story: 6'3 white man that grew up with supportive parents...
Idk people have said he's talented, but I can't help but feel he's more just tall, hasn't had reason to believe anyone would treat him unfairly, and relying on the implicit bias that comes in combination of the two.
The climax of the movie was BE singing, pls cease that. Effective immediately. BE is not a singer, as all.
Hire the stylist. Try to give yourself time to adjust to being filmed or photographed without glasses of you wear glasses.
16:26 it made NO SENSE. The entire movie was kind of set up to compare like "The Haves and Have Nots" to juxtapose and make interesting positionings with different impositions.. which it did not. Like, there wasn't even like a real external stake for him to be or pass as a true "bro"... and while we're on that, I think we all wanted to know what a Bro was... like, is it a lazy gay that enjoys carbs and not shaving, and may have alight case of oppositional defiant disorder? Is it a Gen z thing? Does it have to do with baseball? Is it like, foreplay? It doesn't involve singlets does it? All questions unanswered.
Answer immediately: what can I trade my bro status in for?
      - is it just getting the 🍑 eaten like groceries (a la s2 Euphoria)?
      - do I get invited to formal illustrious dinners ?
      - can I bag one of those mid career social climbing NY eternal twink gays, that then themselves take me as a plus one to illustrious status dinners?
Who wants to see you turned out as a bro and why? I NEED TO KNOW, and I have to believe it's worth it.
Because honestly, only internally driven with literally no one asking for it? seems literally like what Carrie Bradshaw did twice to three times per day with her outfits.
The entire selling point of the movie legitimized was, basically you tried on new clothes... to (not even get but) feel worthy of a man's attention?
So here I am waiting for the makeover-driven movie starring 2 men to start, and boy was i waiting for a while. Meanwhile, what do I get? Literally, what do I get? I don't remember at all.
Ah yes, I remembered. Borderline esoteric one-liners with no explanation and a very desolate display of what's to come if you can't have kids.
Anywho. 16:37 Male vulnerability does not equate to male romance. Huge misconception.
Vulnerability - usually an acknowledged plausibility that relates to the identity, i.e. I think a may be the case because of b identity previous messaging and it keeps coming up for me.
Romance - possibly the toyed with search for one's own humanity in another (who is doing the toying)
Which... I think is where we start to get into the core issue of the movie. It seemed like Luke's character was experiencing romance for the other gay, but BEs character wasn't searching for his humanity in pursuing "bro-ing it up".. it almost seemed like he was fettishizing, randomly expressing personal insecurity fueld aggression through mocking (i.e. caricaturizing the guy trying to get to know him), completely coming to the decision that oh no there's nothing there in Luke's characters entire box of charms, before placing himself back into proximity of his notappreciated admirer, before next insulting the mama... ultimateltly to only throw a fit when the homie took his shot.
I will say, while I don't like to generalize, I do feel that Jewish people, very admirably like to believe the best in people... so with this underpined unacknowledged belief, perhaps argument could be made that maybe Luke saw in BEs character's ways that "Everybody makes mistakes" and began to internally process his own internal forgiveness for his own mistakes and impulsive life directional paths, only to conclude that maybe he could be more impulsive and it could work out, esp having the support of his new lover/ teammate, the same type of love Luke's character showed BEs character...
But then again, moving from "seeing the best in people" culture to more current specific mainstream, as a culture we're done with lashing fuckboys. I hear about probably 5 tik toks per week about how middle eastern men are a whole different game when it comes to dating... you not getting text back? How about he didn't bring you a more expensive purse after that first date ... let alone let someone mock me, could you imagine....
And also, it kind of seemed the movie touched on that they knew first impressions in those early weeks of dating to filter out the (lets call it what it is) conflama threats, in how Luke's character just kept walking away from BEs character
And then at the end, BEs character literally says basically, you're only good enough for me to consider 3 months tops rn 🤦🏾‍♂️
That is literally, the very last 5 minute set of scenes, where the rom com starts.
Baby, that's not a rom com, that's a music video with 90 minutes of homework proceeding it.

And then the sex scene after the park wrestling personally offended me as a gay man (as well as confused me? In more ways than one.).
This is what they think the mainstream thinks we do? 😒
Yeah, I'm in the mood. Brb while I hrab my football helmet. (Wtf? Bc that's basically what it was leaning toward giving).
Then the other sex scenes were trimed more than me at the start of summer. Also personally offensive
