The detective will hand over the footage once the case is closed. Since they obtained it from the restaurant they will most likely have in the police record system. You will have to submit a “Public Records Request” even if you were the victim of the incident to acquire that footage. Don’t forget and make sure to be on top of that.

I recommend maybe getting a pepper spray keychain or one of those self protection kits for all 3 of y’all so that in case that ever happens again, y’all could defend yourselves.
I’d also like to add that, recently there’s been a rise in them crackheads so, be very careful. I used to work near Bryant Park and Times Square, and was literally 1 stop away from 34th St, where KT is. There’s a lot of homeless around there, so please be careful. Yea they appear non-threatening, but you never know.

What a Traumatizing event ): Last day I was staying in NY, I was heading back to the airport with my suitcase & when i got out of the subway station random person just came up to my face and started pushing me against the wall and kicked my suitcase. The second that happened I thought to myself, I need to get away from her.. so I went up the stairs to avoid her. She followed me again and SMACK!! She smacked me in the head and knocked my AirPods out of my ears. I was on the ground. Thankfully some random hungover guy ran over and helped me out and that chic just ran away. After the incident I was definitely not okay for quite a long time, I thought i wouldn’t be able to return back to NY. But a couple of months later after learning that the world isn’t a safe place, defn more aware of my surroundings. I’m glad to hear that both of you guys are safe…❤

hey eric hope you guys are doing well now, similar thing happened to me while i was in chinatown but the man had grabbed me in the neck for some reason, me and 2 friends were walking down the street near the street venders area and a man came up on the side looked at us and started saying stuff like "you guys are making fun of me huh" (you could tell it was a crackhead" and the man proceeded to grab me by the neck (keep in mind i was 16 at the time) so i full understand how you guys feel, i was more so shocked than scared but it was truly a scary experience. be safe out there eric!

What a Traumatizing event ): Last day I was staying in NY, I was heading back to the airport with my suitcase & when i got out of the subway station random person just came up to my face and started pushing me against the wall and kicked my suitcase. The second that happened I thought to myself, I need to get away from her.. so I went up the stairs to avoid her. She followed me again and SMACK!! She smacked me in the head and knocked my AirPods out of my ears. I was on the ground. Thankfully some random hungover guy ran over and helped me out and that chic just ran away. After the incident I was definitely not okay for quite a long time, I thought i wouldn’t be able to return back to NY. But a couple of months later after learning that the world isn’t a safe place, defn more aware of my surroundings. I’m glad to hear that both of you guys are safe…❤

Im glad you guys are ok!! Id recommend carrying pepper spray around with you for safety. I started doing it a few months ago and it brings some peace of mind knowing i have some form of protection. ❤ keep it up Eric! Proud of you

hey eric hope you guys are doing well now, similar thing happened to me while i was in chinatown but the man had grabbed me in the neck for some reason, me and 2 friends were walking down the street near the street venders area and a man came up on the side looked at us and started saying stuff like "you guys are making fun of me huh" (you could tell it was a crackhead" and the man proceeded to grab me by the neck (keep in mind i was 16 at the time) so i full understand how you guys feel, i was more so shocked than scared but it was truly a scary experience. be safe out there eric!
