- Today we visit a UK free range small farm raising bronze turkeys, chickens geese and pigs. This small farm or smallholding belongs to a friend of ours and we get a behind the scenes tour around.
Getting to visit a free range smallholding in the UK and see the bronze turkeys, chickens, geese and pigs being raised is eye opening for anyone thinking of starting a small farm. This small farm has had a lot of support from the local community and they are just getting started. To produce good quality free range and high welfare poultry takes a lot of effort and passion for farming this way.

The land is also farmed by David who is a peripatetic farmer, he can move from place to place using other peoples land to farm. This is great for David as he can farm without the overheads and great for Worcesters as they can see their land put to good use by an experienced farmer. David has Large Black pigs on this farm and they are in good health with plenty of space to roam.

This is wonderful how everything worked out for your friends. The property found them, and no dig found them. It's nice to see small farms building a successful base. And I am happy that turkeys are included in the mix. The more people support local farms, the better off we will all be in terms of food security. Thanks for this video.

It looks lovely when you walked in the entrance and had the driveway and trees on both sides. We’re trying to do what your friend has done but on only 4 acres. I know what your friend means about costs, I work a normal 40 hour job and building our small holding before and after work and it costs a fortune. Subscribed as your channel looks interesting.
