These are the things that needs to be talked about politically. Because I think that most Americans have noticed the increasing food prices. Doesn't matter where you stand. We are all feeling the crush.
When we fight about politics, the politicians win. While we fight, politicians get things passed quietly.
We need a hudge raise... Can't survive on what I get now. Everything is going up ridiculously outrageous.... I just went grocery shopping 4 bags over 200$. Dairy is up., milk bread eggs.... Just everything...🎉
Just got eggs $2,54 a dozen Bread $3.45 Milk was up $3,89 from $3.72 from 10 days ago OJ has been the same most of the year.

Project 2025 will have even seniors who are paying no tax now pay 15% . Plus 2025 calls for a National consumption tax.

That seems high. I think it'll be 2.3% at the most.

President Biden called a meeting with the companies CEOs about fast food prices and told them they have to make changes. What I don't understand is, for example. McDonald's has a $5 special, but it's on tv the commercial but not the menus when you go.
It's just another fake meme to temporarily keep us coming back.

Just another Cola increase that won’t keep up with inflation of actual everyday goods that people live on. What else is new. So that’s about thirty out of the last forty years where cola hasn’t kept up with inflation. 😢😢. What a surprise 😮.

I notice that the price of meat, primarily beef, has skyrocketed. Even cheaper cuts such as ground beef is high. I feel sorry for large families with a bunch of kids. I don’t know how they do it.
Farmers are relying more on grain feed.The reason poor grazing farmland has contributed to this. This cost is passed on to the consumer.

At 2.63 that would only give us $38 COLA. I'll just put it all towards my big investment, My house, put it towards my principal. Personally I will be surprised if we see is a 2% COLA.

I am outraged at this tiny amount that will not even buy a bag of potatoes a month. I've emailed my state rep for three years and more times than I can even count and still no action. Something has to change now or most of us will be starving, unable to afford meds and ultimately out on the street and that's not an exaggeration!

Remember one thing people of this country when they give us a raise in our checks for social security they raise our food prices on medical prices medication. What about the people who make less than $2,000 worth of social security how do they survive

Why don't they raise the snap allowance? The price of food is going up but snap payments go down. If you are collecting Social Security when you get a cola raise they cut snap payments by same amount.
