Nice to see that this Goodwill uses elastics instead of tape to lot things.
Tell your Mom, She's done Wonders tidying up the shop. I can see more than pathways thru the store. Good Work Mom !!
My favorite thing in the world is when I think your video is ending then you add an extension and it makes me so happy lol
The napkin holder is a pattern called Swirl made in England by Chance Bros.
Cast iron was actually in decent shape. Little scrub and seasoning would have brought it back to life
And it was a WAGNER piece!!!
It looked like a chicken fryer, nice & deep.
To restore a cast iron all you need to do is scrub it with steel wool and dish soap . Then cook bacon in it eat the bacon then while the pan is still hot or warm take the oil from the bacon and rub it all over every inch of the pan in side and out handle too. Let it cool wipe the excess off and the pan is properly patinaed. Ready to use for generations.
If it's really rusty, it may require the ammonia and black plastic bag treatment, but I don't really know how it's done and never want to find out. Except that you do it OUTSIDE and with the wind blowing the other way.
I was always taught to never use soap. For rusty or non rusty clean with oil and salt and a rag. Scrub and wipe out. Put in oven for a few minutes to absorb and oil/salt left over. 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks great information 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks I didn't know that
Soap, water and rusty cast don't mix, bad idea bad knowledge.
Pretty, pretty, pretty! You are so lucky to have a Mother like yours, she's great!
Unboxing on the clean white counter was a great background for the pieces easier to see the detail
Yes n her mom is going to get her if she doesn't get it off that counter LOL😂
Stuff that close to the edge of the counter makes me nervous....even from here! LOL
Good job mom!
Please thank your Mom for me for straightening/cleaning up some for you & Andrew!!😊❤
The old phone was radio. My parents had a similar one.
The puck you looked at is to use in canning when fermentation to keep food under liquid
Watching the unboxing feels like Christmas!
I feel like when you have your shop ready you'll have a section called 'it has a bird on it' LOL
The unboxing of the glass items that Andrew bought was great.
The glass piece you found over by the canning jars is a weight for when you are pickling things, it weighs everything down in the jar so it stays under the brine.
Oh, my mom gave me Miss Lollypop for Christmas when I was little. Gosh that was a long time ago :)
The round mystery piece of glass is something to put in your pan when boiling a liquid. It makes a bumping noise when boiling starts.
The day is complete Jocelyn released today's video.
I wait for my daily dose 😊
At 14:16, the glass circle looks like the gadget we put in the pot when boiling pasta. It was recommended for avoiding boil-overs, and we haven't had any since we started using it.
The glass piece is the top of a bail lid Ball Jar
@@louiseasmith1336 yes, that’s call a bail
@@katelynmariahvisionaryarti7619 Can also be used to weigh down fermenting veggies I think.
@@flossycaines1270 I suppose you could, but they are made as lids for ball jars. I collect the jars
@@katelynmariahvisionaryarti7619 Thank you for correcting me! They look alot like pickle pebbles they are called for weighing down fermented garlic, veggies etc. Take care and stay safe!
Those homco pieces would go for a good amount on what not. Very popular now :)
Lol, the candle candle holder 😂
I appreciate how this store keeps their sets together with rubber bands not that sticky packing tape most places use. It allows you to inspect every item for damage before purchasing. I would hope people would be respectful enough to repackage them securely after looking thru the grouping. 🤔🤞
Yes! Me too.
Wow, Drew has a great eye..what a team you two make! That cleaned off surface looks like a great spot to snap some pics...don't tell your mom I suggested that! lol
Beautiful things in that box. I loved them.
Wow. Andrew got you some good stuff!
Good afternoon, I have to tell you what a joy you are, your a breath of fresh air…. I absolutely love every video, your spirit is so kind, loving and gentle. Thank you for doing what you do…. Wow that was a beautiful box of glass!
That was a great box to watch you go through. I liked everything!
Thank you so much for the unboxing at the end. They are great to watch
Your mom is doing exactly what I would have to do! Go mom!
Gorgeous glass in that box!
God bless you Andrew! (The sneezing!) 😊
I’m so happy to see you supporting Linda! She’s a doll and finds the best stuff!
Kudos to Andrew for a great haul.
Great job Andrew! Those items were beautiful!
Great timing! I just checked in to see if you were here yet!
14:24: is for Vintage Canning Jar 🫙
Wow, Andrew did awesome! Beautiful glass❤
That was some beautiful stuff in that box. He did very well catch you on your next one.
A beautiful box of glass! Lots of Fenton. The vase is cameo opalescent---cameo being the color as you surmised.
The little round flat glass thing is to place in the bottom of a pot to prevent boiling over
I liked the unboxed fairy light, different than any I've see before!
Andrew has a great eye for awesome stuff! I love it all!☺
Last week I bought a chunk of glass, you won' t believe it. I developed an appreciation for the art of glass. And it all comes together. Heavy uranium glass wrapped in cobalt and deeply cut to clear. Slightly older than art deco, but straight forward like that. The complementary contrast, the brutal cuts, straight lines. Awesome. The best among these quite valuable pieces. A paid less than the current inflation rate of its actual value. The thing is pure joy. It transcends materialism. Timeless. And radioactive for the next 100 millennia.
Loved❤ the unboxing!
Me too! 😊
The items in the unboxing were beautiful!😊
Those vases you unboxed were amazing!!!
Beautiful all the things in the box and your mom is awesome fixing and clear out the counter thumbs up she worked hard 👍
Beautiful Crystal from Andrews haul!
Taking a picture of a marking and then zooming in always helps me decipher them more easily 😊
Wow great box opening ❤ love allnof it
Getting close to opening up shop to the public. It's looking so squared away and organized!!
10:06 That brings back memories. My sister had one of those Avon perfume “heads”. Had not seen or thought of in years and years but knew what it was instantly
That "Old timey" phone was a light! The center gold piece holds the bulb. that is why therer was an electric cord coming from the back,
Love your nail polish color today!
Loved every thing in the box.
Love your channel, but I miss all of the live auction hauls and fun chats while you were finding treasures. Wish you would bring some of them back.
21:28 wrote the glass is so pretty and the smalls are perfect for what not ❤
I 😍 the cameo color vase.
hi, lovely pink bowl. pink glass is one of my favorite things!!!
Beautiful glass that you unboxed. 😊
Hi Jocelyn. I love all the unboxing pieces Andrew got. As for the saucer you might find the cup at another goodwill. You never know.
That was quite a box full of treasures!
I look forward to your forays out and about shopping! I am a "glass hound". Glass is a true weakness of mine, but unfortunately, I don't have anymore places within my home to support my "glass addiction", therefore; I enjoy vicariously through you! Andrew picked up some beautiful pieces!
Lol mom bought it! So Funny! I love the way you take time to show us each item. I don't mind the crinkle sound of paper at all.
Cubist was originally made in pink or green. Clear was reproduced in the 60's. Fostoria was only made in clear. Cubist was originally only made in luncheon pieces. I know I collected the entire set in pink for my daughter. It took years to gather all the pieces!
Lottsa goodies today! I LOVE all the glass at the end 💜💟💙💚💛
I remember when you used to set and put the things out of the boxes on the window sills.
Hi what a blast fun to be able to see you California
🦋🦋🦋 always fun with you Jocelyn 🌸🌺🌸
go Andrew.👏🏻👏🏻beautiful pick. You guys have such classy taste. Nobody does glass better
What a great shopping trip at Goodwill. And love the things in the first box absolutely Beautiful Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Jocelyn, I love learning along with you. Thank you for teaching us. Do you think Andrew would film his flea market trips for us? 🥰
Thanks for the video and I will Catch you on your next one
That Cambridge vase color is called Crown Tuscan. It it my favorite!!! That's a keyhole vase. Tell your mom she has good taste lol. The collectors have their convention in June you should come and see the museum
I think that glass piece you picked up by the canisters is a pot boiler. You put it in a pot to prevent it from boiling over.
Always enjoy your videos..but wow the stuff Andrew had in that box is all the things I love. If I was you I would keep the biscuit jar in your house come fall. It was the prettiest ever. I gave away a fairy light thirty years ago and never seen one again at estate sales or Goodwill. Thank you. 😊
I LOVE THOSE VINTAGE FIBERGLASS SHADES..ESPECIALLY THAT GREEN ONE
You look beautiful! Your makeup is perfect!
Wow. Such pretty glass 🎉
Cast iron is the best to cook your cornbread , biscuit in . Makes all the difference in the world.
You made me nervous when opening the box of glass and placing them so close to the edge. Great pieces. Loved it.
Twice you walked by a boy and girl bear figurines. I have those. Bought them from home interior 40 years ago.
Es hermoso todo lo que presentas de cristal (lo que está envuelto y en cajas).
Bless you Andrew -- Allergies ugh!
I thought I saw a glass pumpkin in the first bin, nice coloration on it. 💞💞🙃💞💞
Front counter looks amazing. Yeah mom! 🎉
Glass disk keeps a
Pot
From
Boiling
Over.
Another fabulous clip Jocelyn. This time I watched you whilst in the car wash!!😂
That silver top jar is Avon however everyone likes that one…
That blue cup that you said “must go with that blue dish” was Royal China out of Sebring Ohio. I only know that because my besties dad worked there. Some of the patterns can sell for $$$ I believe the factories peak was in the late 70’s.
The old Telephone was a random I believe made in the 60s. Can sale for around $50
I love Wagner cast iron!!
Beautiful glass
My mother in law had those butterflies from homeco? I spray painted them brown but today the color is teal. That might look nice.
😮 Wow! Just stunning glass. I never see such pieces in my area. I would scoop up a fairy light in a heart beat if I found one in the wild in my area.
❤️🙃 love that box
