The criticism here isn't about where they find their inspiration. Also, them saying where they got that inspiration is irrelevant. They didn't ask permission from, or pay the copyright holders to use this piece of music, which is a common practice for them. Also, why should it only be DA fans that are allowed to speak their voice? Does that also apply for criminals - only the people who like them can make comments publicly. Being a fan of DA is not a prerequisite for calling them out on their actions.

Then what I meant about the fan part is if you have have been a fan OR have done deep research into not just the band but the art created by the individuals of the band you will see alot more than if you have only seen things relating to or directly about Die Antwoord. There are BIG irrefutable revelations coming out soon about the band beginning with Tokkie. Some of his revelations will be known publicly within the next couple of weeks. In other words, I know more truth about them than what's already out there. Unfortunately, the fans have no idea who these people really are. The only 'truth' they know is no more than how the band chooses its image to be perceived, and fans using that image as a basis to defend them is very irresponsible.
